im just sick of people that havnt played legacy saying all this shit like its not legacy so cry and play another game when ever someone mentions legacy
I agree with you, the game is just like a counter-strike which you need to craft your weapons, you are surviving agaisnt what? Humans? We need something to force people regroup to fight it, survival agaisnt something, in 7 Days to Die we fight together agaisnt zombies!
I disagree completely. I have played rust since literally day 1, when it was released as a web plugin with unity player, and was free.
Rust was pretty fun in legacy, but was in the end totally just a clan-based raiding game. Nothing has changed. New rust is 100% better than legacy, and aside from the fact that new rust lacks zombies and/or rad bears and wolves (which IMO were stupid anyways and are possibly being replaced by the helicopter and more interesting enemies like the guardians anyways), has more features that are better implemented in every area.
Legacy was and still is nothing but a clan-based base raiding game. New rust is nothing but a BETTER clan-based base raiding game.

Yeah, new Rust is better in some ways than Legacy. But Legacy is also better in some ways... such as the map and rocky places to hide. Performance is much, much better in legacy.
IMO legacy is still a better game than the current version of Rust. I like progression, how you gear up, and overall play in legacy as a solo player better. They haven't got there yet.
The better map, rad animals, hotspots where everyone would go like hangar and small rad, decay - all of these things are better in legacy. I love how in legacy you can go hunt for hidden bases that have opened up due to decay and will have good loot in them. And the graphics in legacy on my machine actually looks better than the graphics in new Rust - because I have to turn down the graphics to lowest settings. The ground in new Rust looks terrible at low settings.
But at some point, new Rust will be better - and maybe they will improve performance enough that I can turn up the graphics settings.

X10, so true. Anyone saying New Rust is better than Legacy obviously only scratched the surface.

No, there are people with plenty of hours in legacy alone and still prefer the new Rust, legacy was nothing special, and it only ever comes down to personal opinion, if you and some others prefer legacy, so be it. But me and many others prefer the the new Rust a lot more.
legacy was nothing special
everything you said except this, I can agree with. It comes down to personal opinion on the two. But many, many people found Legacy to be a great game. That is why they sold many millions of dollars of copies of Rust when it was Legacy.
(perhaps machines of war or alien ships that fly in the sky and will decend and raid your base if too much light is visible?)
what in the actual wat are you on about ya cheeky geezer
Legacy? The version of the game where the ultimate goal was basically to build the highest tower ever and put your stuff on top of it?
No, thank you and good riddance. It was fun but after a while you understood the huge limitations of it. The only thing I think the current state of the game dramatically lacks, is more NPC danger (in other words an equivalent of zombies). No doubt they will improve that though.
