Female character option - Rust

the only thing i'm interest, whether the female models gonna drop chickenbreasts or will they taste fishy? and why not mermaids? so people got chicks in the game and can go fishing!

Hi, I'm a man and I usually play female character in games, it's not like I'm a pervert, a very large part of players like to play as the opposite sex. The thing is I don't like play as a bearer man, I' like to impersonate a more agile ligth weight smaller hitnox type of character and yes, I like women. You probably will say that this isn't a RPG so there is no needs to impersonate a character but actually this game is from an role playing perspective one of the most immersive I saw in a long time. It's not about see nude womens, it's about create a costum character you want to play with. That said I know there is no needs of that in an alpha, I'm just trying to explain the point of view of many people. (Sry my English)

No problem with that.. to each his own.

I'm sure they would have to change that the models are actually nude if women entered the game. They would have to be covered up (males too ofc) for controversy reasons.

Rust is not for small children.

+1 Need females and more player models, but give that a month. Women play this so I don't see why they wouldn't add the female character models. Can't say I will be happy if they add the nudity, sure it will be funny but it will be a little too... Morbid, running around murdering naked women and cursing at them over voip. Seems like this game might damage a man's fragile mind, if you look at the track record of history, someone will be negatively affected by it. But hey! Not my problem, right? That is why we need a better nudity system, no genitals, just loin cloths. I will admit that nudity is fucking hilarious though.

They added beds, which were completely unnecessary, so what would be wrong if the art team designed a female character model? Art assets and animation, I assume, have zero impact on the person developing the cheat engine and more behind the scenes programming features. Female characters are coming, so why throw a hissy fit if some people want it now rather than later?

They should add tits and a jay-jay, then I'll be happy.

Well if you didn't already know you can only respawn at a sleeping bag every 5 minutes or so, but if you are using a bed there is no respawn penalty.

Clearly the OP hasn't figured out that one of the main reasons to game is to avoid interacting with the wifey. #NewlyWeds

I'm not sure why either of you felt the need to focus solely on this aspect of my post and contribute nothing to the topic of the thread.

As a female Ruster (Rusty?) this is something that I initially wanted... until I made the mistake of speaking on the mic. I had to leave several servers due to being sexually harassed. They'll kill me then ask why they can't eat players or just follow me around for no reason. I even had some creep follow me to my base and talk about raping me. He didn't even take my things, where I had several BARs/M4s/loads of ammo/resources... he literally just stood outside my door and said sexual things to me, so I exited the game. He then broke into my base, killed me and that was it. I came back the next day and he still followed me around. I stopped going on that server, but I still refrain from using the mic now. I'd rather just die and have them take my things than risk going through that again. The game is scary enough as is lol I can understand why your wife and other women want to be represented in games, especially ones they love to play, but in my experience, it's safer to just blend in with everyone else. Of course there'd be a bunch of other female nakeds running around once it's added so my scenario hopefully won't be as prevalent as it's really not fun to deal with at all.

cosmetics to player models will most likely be one of the last things they implement in this game...maybe beta. or they might just leave it to modders even

What I am saying is that through observation, I can determine from those I personally know and from professional female gamers that the female percentile is most certainly not the 1-5% that so many gamers seem to delude themselves into believing. It is an observable fact that most of my friends that are women are gamers of some sort, whether casual just playing Facebook/phone games, or more hardcore playing P&P/PC/Consoles. It is also an observable fact that women are quickly becoming a prominent presence on many gaming news outlets such as the Escapist. And on-top of those observation, it is also an observable fact that female gamers are a huge presence on Youtube and Twitch.

My dream would be a skilled lonely bandit woman raiding my base with tons of C4 up to the last floor of my tower where I'm vegetating most of the time,,,, then pressing "v" and saying "I'll let you live and give you some food but you are my slave now and you have to collect wood and stones for me every day" with a cute but at the same time firm and forceful female voice. Still searching for this ultimate rust experience. I met two real woman with voice in rust so far and both were dumb and friendly at the same time.
