the whole point of the thread is that this 'alpha' is an excuse to be lazy as fuck and they have more or less botched the last 3 months of development.
Airdrops have been broken for a WEEK, and to my knowledge, not even a single announcement or forum post or ANYTHING about this from facepunch. Are you kidding me? how is this even remotely acceptable. apparently the game has sold twice as much as I thought, and its in the millions. how can you run a successful game/company with ZERO addressing of quick fixes.
Instead we get drunk Garry tweeting about cannibalism.

This sounds easier than it is. Garry pulled gmod all on his own so I guess it fits your description of good people yet he didn't even go to university. When he requested an interview to work at valve he was rejected which is probably what is going to happen if another Garry Newman applies to work at facepunch studios. It's an ironic situation especially considering that Gabe Newell, founder of valve, was expelled from Harvard and rejected Garry, the 30+ million dollar employee.
But it's also easy to hire the right people and still sink the company like it has recently happened to the Manchester United football team.
A good game takes time you know. Not like the copy and paste cod games.
