I went to your house 30mins ago to see how its build, and I saw a wall destroyed. Someone told me that they stack pillars after destroying the wall. I think thats the only problem I see for now. Fix that and I think it will be unbreakable
Well here's the security flaw, there are walls instead of pillars on the bottom floor. Someone can blow the wall, and put an offset staircase there. So if you don't have any walls on the first (or second) floor, but pillars instead, you should be completely safe.
I'll try to repair my base if i can so we can test it out

I build the base myself with my clan mates out of Metal on a 9*9 Foundation. Since we saved up a lot of material we gave it ago and it looks awesome ^_^ it is a bit different from yours.

my bottom room is 3x3 even when I blow up the walls and stack pillars to jump on top of them I can only reach some ceiling but not the walls.
So if you figure out how pls tell me?

I see a flaw in this. If I'm right, you use pillars like stairs to get to your chest. If someone were to put another pillar on top of these pillars your loot plan has failed.

hehe that would be dumb. ^_^ I am using 3 big loot crates to jump on a barricade there is a pillar as well so no one can build stairs there to get up.

Yeah, the ultimate truth I think is that a troll proof base is impossible... you may get a C4 proof base but couldn't someone always destroy your stairs with grenades and replace with a pillar?

Actually I think if I get rid of bottom floors, the base will be 100% troll proof.

they might be able to get some lucky graned throws on my stairs but they can´t place pillars there because its to far away I think I´ll upload some more screen shoots

Alright I figured out how to make it 100% secure.
If anyone wants me to make a video, I will, but need a server to spawn me some resources for the video. If someone wants to let me use their server let me know, but this took 8+ hours to make
Even though my base was raided, I am back in it, and can fix it, just need 15 c4 to fix it.

steal proof not troll proof, after realizing most cant get in they would spam grenades up through the whole to just destroy as much as possible

Thats why theres 4 floors and not 3. You could make this 5 floors if you wanted. In the video, if I ever make it, I will let you know how much wood it would require to add another floor.

Im going to build this on the server I play on without walls for the bottom two stories. That guys estimate for 10000 wood is a bit off iit will take approx 15000 wood
The only disadvantage of replacing the walls with pillars is that you have almost no cover while putting your items in the chest tot transfer your items into your house. You are really vulnerable at this point.
I was thinking, if you would replace outter layer of pillars with walls, you will have the cover again, but will it give raiders a chance? I actually don't think so.

Unfortunately no building is ever troll proof, and as long as you can access the chests, so can someone else. Aso wouldn't a base where it couldn't be raided essentially be a fault in the game ? Or does garry not mind making the raiding aspect useless? I guess you always trade security for accessibility, how long do you want it to take you to get shit out/in of your base vs how secure it is vs raiders.
EDIT: Also isn't the box you use for transfer a bug ? I mean it's half on the floor half off the floor, dosen't seem like it should be able to be placed.

Someone already found a way up. You can glitch a sleeping bag up, or put a staircase where the wall is. The door glitch is also another known bug.
So we already know to not put wooden walls on the bottom floor, if you read the thread. The house on that server is not 100% fixed yet, as I can't spawn 15c4 to take out all the walls.
Even my first post has been edited with bold text saying the house isnt 100% secure as it is. If you look I even mention the jump height bug in a post.
Hey AeroJohn that's a real strategy. But there is a way to cover that in my Light version, I too all the walls away in the first level and put some Pillars, this way you really can't put the door way with wooden door to jump!
