words
The bonus stuff like that isn't for anything other than a superiority complex. It's a whole different story with Minecraft, TF2, and games like Total Annihilation. The Alpha/Beta testers actually paid earlier, maybe more, than the other players, and in the case of kickstarters and Minecraft, their purchase helped fund the development. How can you seriously expect even more? You got the game for free, sit the fuck down and appreciate it. The others will have to pay.
Maybe a little symbol or something for people who actually helped the game by submitting bug reports, etc. Not by just being there.
This makes more sense rather than rewarding the early-bird freeloaders.
This makes more sense rather than rewarding the early-bird freeloaders.
The early-bird freeloaders got banned. If people are playing, they are helping. Even if a few of them did not file a bug report, they still might cause a bug that somebody else will report or something. They might expose a glitch in combat, the base they left behind, etc.

You already get a copy of the game for free, isn't that enough?
