There was something like this when I used to play pto tournament css matches. It ran everytime you played the game and took random ingame screenshots which were submitted for analysis. This was a pro tournament for thousands of dollars not just another online game. I don't think its necessary. Cheaters are obvious. If someone is running an aimbot and has all other toggles disabled you'll never know.
Most cheaters are obvious, but the dangerous ones are those who toggle heavily and are very careful. Very hard to catch these guys.
You quoted DenverDeCoY as he quoted and was talking to me... So yes, that is what you did... You have a habit of trolling, that's the only reason I said anything... If the "he" was "they", then it would have been different.
I didn't even read the quote or your post. So it's just a general statement. And the trolling actually is just an effect of the language barrier. :v:
Look at all the scared cheaters screaming "abuse" "privacy". Have you dildos figured out that we pay for our servers from our own pockets. If I want to see if you are cheating I will. Stop crying that we''ll find your base...If an admin wanted to he or she can teleport to you and level your base.
When you play on a server that is owned by another person you have no privacy, none. And if you are worried about "Admin Abuse" which by definition doesnt exist seeing as the server is privately owned, do some research and find a good server.
I dont agree with that, if you host a PUBLIC server, you cant play like a dictator. There are rules of manners. I think admins have to much possibilities already, to much room for abusing and to hard to restist for many of them.
As a server owner, we can do whatever we want. We rent the server. I personally don't "abuse" my powers and leave everyone that plays on my server alone. I believe spawning my own items and nôt using them on other players is not abuse. I can build whatever I want. Admin abûse is onlÿ a problèm if it were on the official servers, but there's no admins there. If you don't like what an admin does, don't play on THEIR server. More admin tools is a great idea and withholding them becàuse of bad admins and whiny players gimping good admins is not a good idea. Please excuse the weird characters, my phone acts weird when I type fast.
May as well pitch in, right? As it currently stands (as I try to steer the thread back on topic), a "spectate" option is not possible - at least for mod developers. Garry, however, could perform this "easily," but that doesn't mean he will. If he does, it may not be soon. But hey, I'm not a prophet. I can understand lewyk13's concern for more prevalent admin abuse if spectating was implemented, but I am intrigued to know more about your point of view lewyk13. Also, us mod developers provide plugins for YOUR use and YOUR intent. We all realize that sometimes the things we create won't please a portion of our users, but we have to please the majority. The features you do not favor can simply be disabled. "What if I run into a server with abusive admins?" Well, I hate to click replay like a broken record player, but try to find another server. If you really like the server you're on, you can always try the reasonable, more mature approach and consult with the owner about the server circumstances. "What if the server has features I don't approve of?" Talk to the admins and owners. First see their point of view and reasoning for that existing on their server. Then advocate your own. It is all about patience. We all have it, you just have to find your peak and try to extend it.
Naturally this wouldn't work if it was part of the game by default, as they'd just always use a setting that hides the hack overlay when the server requests a screenshot. A delayed spectate however seems like it would be really useful in any server.
