Not going to bother arguing with a shitposter.
Are you 8?
DAT COMEBACK, so original and true, if you want I'l give you a reward.
Because, the game is kind of shit at the moment, you just got your account for free so you can play when its actually good, the only reason people have keys is to test, not to wait till the game is actually out and good.
i literally just said i tested in the early alpha, when there wasnt hunger or chopping down trees or anything.
Are you 8?
No he's twelve. Besides that:
this is bullshit i wasnt on for 6 days and my account was lost
You are lying. No one loses there account for 6 days and loses it that's bullshit. You lose your account after 2 months of inactivity. It already was proven. If you lost it, someone probably sold you a key or gave you an account
So actually having a social life for once kinda deleted my chance to play this game?
That's pretty lame, Max.

Same here! I play in the Early alpha and there's trees you can chop down and there is hunger!
Same here! I play in the Early alpha and there's trees you can chop down and there is hunger!
Soon everyone will play with dicks to chop down trees and GAY PORN to fill hunger.
Someone finally got a reliable source in on this:

Yo fuck, went to play today and account didn't work, thought wrong password and then the email I used wasn't recognized... That sucks.
It makes sense for them to ban these accounts, considering each and every account will work as a full account when the full game releases, they are losing money by having all of these accounts. If they are going to sell the game for $15 each, then they have just potentially made 150k by deleting 10k accounts.
I had 9 rust accounts and all of them were deleted for inactivity. Three of them had display names as Pat, Helk, Garry Newman, I think.
I had 9 rust accounts
Now you know why there have been deletions for inactivity.
Fair enough, as long as there are other opportunities for people to get keys for new accounts it's perfectly fine by me.
I also highly doubt there was any way to prove our account existed and that it was ours so nothing we can do it seems.
Edit:
Also, if people have been inactive for this long from the game and maybe think "Oh, I was just waiting for the game to get updated and improved" then those people (including my self) aren't very useful to the testing phase.

The fuck could you possibly need 9 accounts for?
Now you know why there have been deletions for inactivity.
but I already knew.

I never said it was proven true (anytime after you guys pointed out that the other people posting it didn't have a source themselves), I never implied it (ditto), and what burden of proof? You had no proof that any assumptions were wrong, none at all. You had an assumption that they were wrong and now you are calling me ignorant for pointing out that this issue has not been answered yet (As of the post you are quoting). Nobody but a Dev can 100% confirm anything.
That's like calling somebody ignorant for saying that there is no proof that god doesn't exist (or the latter).
Your point: It hasn't been proven
My point: It hasn't been disproven
The ignorant one would be the one who thinks he is superior.
[editline]Poop[/editline]
Fuck it, I'm done, sorry about the long argument, but I seriously cannot help it but to respond to snide comments.
I take all of this shit personally, and however smart I may be, I can be very ignorant and annoying.
My apologies.

Well, Max, do the developpers really mind of people that had only one account and got their account deleted due to a "inactivity" ? (I didn't play only for maximum 1 month, that's why I don't get it). And please, people telling "Ye shaould have plaiyed muchhshsh ! :zoid:", I'm just asking it to the admins, I'm not trying to start a debate.

Well, they did distribute because they want their game tested, and the inactive people aren't helping with that.
If they are selling Rust for $15 when it is released, the roughly 10,500 people clogging the alpha up, not testing anything, would make the developers lose around $157,500 (assuming each account bought the game)

I know what you mean, but when you test the game, you stream it, and after a little period, your account is deleted and there is not any developper telling it formally, you feel betrayed. Don't you ?

Wouldn't you feel betrayed if you gave away something you spent your own time making and somebody chucked you off because all those long hours spent working on the project and its 'just not good enough'?
I don't think they need any explanation for removing inactive accounts.

All I did was show you that just because you can't negate a claim doesn't mean it's true. No one is making snide remarks. All I did was show you the argument you were using.
You haven't see this, it's uneducated guesses made up everytime someone doesn't understand what's going on. There has been no proof of accounts being banned or deleted for inactivity, and there have been no official statements mentioning this happening.
It is therefore not to be considered a fact, and I would strongly reccomend against spreading this misinformation further. I can understand that it's confusing when so many people say this happened to them.
Playrust.com: "There are 3,977 users"
Some weeks ago it said more than 13k users... Please explain how that isnt a fact that a massive amount of users has been deleted.

They were deleted. Thats a fact. They were bad alpha testers thats a fact too
Now you know why there have been deletions for inactivity.
That's what i mean. PPL collecting them codes so they can sell as full game access accounts when game is released. As*holes :)
Would it not be easier to just... not give out as many codes?

wow why did you need 9 accounts to yourself
greedy bastard
The whole give Alpha-Testers the game for free is a good move for the people playing, but it's gonna cost Garry and his crew a bit of profit, maybe that's also something to take into account with this account deletion issue.
They were deleted. Thats a fact. They were bad alpha testers thats a fact too
ah, i didnt know you were in while the game had 8 players at peak, because im sure they were all bad testers and didnt help the game to get this far
Inactive accounts have definitely been deleted. I got into the alpha back when garry had released some magic key that could be used tons of times and haven't played since and now my account is gone.
I kind of understand it though, I definitely wasn't a valuable alpha tester. I guess it wouldn't have hurt Facepunch to keep my account active either, but whatever.
Thing is most of the people here had accounts and had zero interest in actually playing the game. Did you maybe only have the account for the sake of it being in closed alpha? It's kind of similar to The Simpsons episode where Lisa shows Bart how Maggie enjoys playing with Ball 1 but when Ball 2 is taken away she suddenly wants it instead.
Still I think there should have been some kind of warning.

Clearly there are quite a few people effected that know about it, and they wouldn't of known about it had they not tried logging in to play.
