No multiplayer, no FPS but I had seen the screenshots for Don't Starve and without reading up on it I thought it was a mobile game or something. Well, I just got it off the current Steam sale and I gotta say it's a brilliant survival game! I highly recommend it.

Vanilla MC does look terrible but if you get texture pack that take it from 8-16bit (whatever default mc is), to anything from 64-512 with HD in some cases it looks fantastic! ;)
DayZ Epoch mod. It's pretty much what you would get if Rust and DayZ had a one night fling and a baby was born nine months later.
Epoch has the ability to build Free Standing Bases or Constructing your base inside of an already preexisting building (unfortunately a good portion of servers have gone to indestructible bases; not all though).
There are also NPC/AI Merchants that you can trade gear or other items you have no use for and in exchange get Copper, Silver, or Gold. Which you can then use to buy Gun, Ammo, Clothes, Food, Water, Vehicles, ETC.....
Depending on the server, some servers have also added AI Events, where Bandits will try to take over an area or build a base. There are also some servers that just have AI Bandits/Heroes in general.
I'm not encouraging anyone to leave rust and hope no one does, but the Devs need to find their own niche if they want to keep Rust popular. I'm taking a small break for now, because after 6 weeks of playing there just isn't anything for me or my friends to really do anymore.
