ok my "opinion" about this all... hacker indeed do ruin games and ive played rust for a minute! i myself never ran across some one that hacked in front of me but have seen alot of complaints in the chat! but by who everyone is call "terrorists" they are just as in the wrong as the hackers. i come home from work every day and play this game for maybe 4-5 hours its my time away from my real life and all this going on is effecting my piece of gameplay. Hackers destroy video games ive witnessed this with hundreds of games and this is the one i was hoping not to happen to! but whos attacking the servers is in no rite either! if everyone just mentioned there word im sure that gary and or the main devs would of adressed the issue before it got to this point! but everyone points fingures instead of trying to help the situation! you all play what does it say rite under the game while loading? ALPHA TEST theres gonna be some bumpy roads with the game before it gets to the best part thats just how it works

That's your problem. It was blatantly sarcasm... He was being stereotypical to prove a point.
These are the end times.
My thought's though, I'm disappointed.
I've played this game for only a day, and I have been hankering to play it again after school. But alas, I can't, because of stupid DDoSers.
And, to Garry/other developers, I haven't seen any hackers myself, but the chat on the Aussie server makes it obvious it's a problem. I've heard people say that you haven't set it as top priority, which is stupid. You want to find problems with the game so you can fix it? Well, we've all found one, and we won't be able to find any more if you don't fix this first.
I'm not trying to be hateful towards you guys, you are awesome, I just think holding it back to the point of noone even being able to play is just... stupid.
Please fix this, I spent a good $20+ on this, and I don't want it to have gone out the window after only playing for a day.

Grat's heres your "cookie"!
Not sure what your register date has to do with well anything, as for your link and comment in your other post it contributed about zilch to this thread.
OP as for the DDOS guess they are protesting the recent sleeper addition in their own annoying way, we just need a wipe seriously should have been done before the sleeper thing was added.
At the moment, the creator. Hear me out. We didn't purchase access to a full game just yet. We purchased access to the full game when it comes out and as a result of that we were given access to the alpha test. It's more of a privilege to be a part of the alpha than a right. We didn't pay for a product, we paid for the development of the game (I'm exhausted so I may have worded that wrong, I'm sorry).
It's a privilege to play a game that I paid for? I'm pretty sure if I spend my money on anything, whether it be an unfinished product or not, it warrants me the RIGHT to be a part the alpha or do so as I please with it and criticize what's being done and not being done. It would be more of a privilege to actually get any feedback from Garry about what the buyers are asking for and what he's working on. We are customers of the (unfinished) game, not just supporters.
Supporting something is an optional choice of ours as... customers. Nobody is going to want to support shit if Garry or whoever do not address the problems we as testers bring them. In my opinion and others, we would most like constant feedback from Garry. Almost every game I have ever tested, whether it be in alpha, beta, or nothing but a freakin' stick figure you get to play as, has provided more feedback and updates about their game, than Garry has and I didn't even have to pay for them... not that I was forced to pay for this game, but I'm just saying. Some feedback from the big boss upstairs would be GREATLY appreciated.

This x100. I couldn't agree anymore. I would be fine that getting rid of hacking isn't a priority if Garry would just say this officially, and give us a reason why. The fact that there is little communication between the devs and the testers is bad. The little info we get from the devs is given with an annoyed or immature tone, such as changing the title of a popular user post to supposedly say that hacking isn't a priority.
