That's an open alpha, this is a closed alpha. The game is in testing and developing stage now, they don't have to let you play at all.

I think it is so quiet because there is nothing to do, everyone has the best possible gear and house (yes i know everyone should be testing but to test you need to play the game) so i think and i think the dev's know if there was a wipe at least 100 people will come back just like every other time there is a wipe.
So i vote "WIPE", anyone els?

i agree with ajearley with a wipe that would be the best possible thing because more players come back when theres been a wipe and maybe if players can stop KoS and ask if there friendly people might stay, we have voip now so use it
The developers are trying to limit server wipes as much as possible, no one is going to actually want to play the game when it is released knowing that the servers are periodically going to be reset. Wipes are not done for gameplay reasons, but to reduce stress on the servers.
It's completely understandable they're waiting on making a public alpha seeing as the success of gmod has brought a huge following, t'would be a mess of people whining about broken game/features and how they paid for a game but got nothing. I've seen it happen in 3 other games that are in early access. Though I cannot wait to give it a go and support the project.

I agree. A game shouldn't be released to the public eye during development. It should be developed, beta tested by only [I][B]a few people who know how to beta test[/B][/I],and furthermore, this game should not take just one bloody year, it should take multiple years to make a game good
