Well if 3 shots for the BAR is good, then they should include a clip at the bottom at least because you can't fit 3 bullets into the chamber.

Not all guns have a clip hanging out the bottom for extra rounds. Just look at the classic Winchester 30-30.

Well, I looked on the model of the bolt action rifle and it appears that there is nothing underneath the chamber of the gun. A small little gap there is the problem. Currently I think all the bullets are loaded into the chamber but we all know that's impossible.

I think people should spawn with guns, and the game should also have bright gun and armor icons rotating on certain points of the map which people can walk into to gather upgrades. Also the game could use some kind of scoreboard which keeps track of who has the most kills, and a persistent kill/death ratio across various servers.
That way we can finally crush everything unique about this game.
I think the bolt action rifle is superb. It evens out the battle and keeps the survival aspect of the game even for the kevlar guys. There needs to be more things that can take out a full armoured player with relative ease.

If they decide to add a scope to the game they'll have to be careful how strong the zoom is. A lot of the engagements happen in the wide open spaces of Rust. If we get even just a good zoom it's going to be sniper city all over Rust.
Maybe if BAR's normal zoom was to trade with the m4's, maybe a little better than m4's as is, idk.
Definitely binoculars with an ok zoom. I don't think we need anything super high tech, but some simple binocz would be effective and help us plan our movement better. If they we're airdrop only they would be one of the most sought after items in the game.
I definitely think it is ok to put a big zoom but it shouldn't affect the render distance
i just cannot quite understand when someone is crying some weapon is too powerful..
if you think bar is so strong and op , why you don't play with it and own whole server?
when reality is you probably never had bar and never been in firefight with bar..
cause if you were you would know how hard it is to hit moving target or when someone strafe..
you cannot strafe with bar beside cover because it takes so much time for rifle to be steady, and you must stand still for second or two and you are easy target than.. and with that sway is even harder...
whereas with m4 you can strafe as much as you want, even run and shoot and you would get hits if you are calm and single fire..
bar is much fun, not really that strong at medium to short distance, but it's really satisfying when you take down with one well place bullet..
scope would be nice.. some 3.4 or max 4 times would be enough.. but game is not "ready" yet because you almost have range as render distance for players..
and with scope it probably be too powerful and it would be much more camping weapon which would lead to "dayz camping fest" for 30 min at one place shooting fresh spawns who try to get basic gear..
it's actually pretty nice balanced with m4 right now..

you seem like you are unable to learn. you ask the devs for holding your hand. stop it. you are ruining the game.
the rifle is too difficult for me, I keep it as a trophy in storage, wish i could hang it on the wall above a fire place, next to bears head. The gun needs a lot of patience and calmness to use. Doesnt suit chaotic style of play: M4 or MP5 all the way.
M4 is still stronger...
The BAR is in a good place right now, it's just retards standing still getting shot in the head who are complaining...
