Hacking isn't a priority right now, so deal with it. - Rust

I actually came back to my house with a friend and saw him up the road, thinking to get into a little fire fight, we shoot a few times and he jumps away and lands over on the hill infront of us and is gone. In my house, everything is gone. It's just a never ending cycle, I can't "alpha test" at all when I keep having to start from scratch. I guess I can keep alpha testing how rocks work against trees and stuff, right? It's getting out of hand, and the numbers show the amount of people becoming fed up with it.

Had our secure metal base raided with no signs of forced entry, and the perp took all our metal shit and m4's. I really dont like that they added sleepers to the game before fixing the damn cheat engine/hacks bullshit. It is hard to test shit when a group of hackers just runs around taking and killing what they want making it harder for those who want to play legit and help the game grow. Insisting that hacking isnt an issue will lead to all the legit players leaving and you will have left the hackers who contribute close to noting to the game.

From a developers POV hacking isn't really an issue as the game is Alpha/Beta or whatever at this point but it does destroy the enthusiasm of the community and that could come back and bite Garrys ass I think.

I'll be completely honest here if your bringing this game to steam i expect the GD's to tackle the hackers. On another note this is an Alpha anything and everything will be used for people to hack. Have some patience people it will get addressed down the line. Its not like they aren't doing anything about it unless your blind and don't read the blog updates. Take a breather and report Hackers in the appropriate thread.

I'm just really unhappy at how often it is occurring, I was noclipped minutes ago by "ThatoneguyD:"... expected it too I just sat there and watched him do it. Getting way out of hand.

Ye if hacking wasn't a problem I'm guessing it likely is now what with your servers being held down by some dude.

There better be Valve Anti Cheat when its a client game or it will be the next WarZ :(

There needs to be a whole different anti-cheat in place if not multiple layers of protection. As for the guys saying it's hard to test when you get hacked... I'm 110% in agreement with you. Being hacked in a test defeats the purpose of testing. I have yet to get to certain recipes and try certain things out because of hacking and server resets (as well as DDoS). War Z made the mistake because anti-hack was unimportant for them early on. They didn't take it serious until past the point of no return and I fear the same could happen here if Garry doesn't change his approach to it.
