LOADING BARS
DEAR GOD. Something has finally changed after 24+ hours of updating. Be right back, gonna see if the game finally does something now.
My loading bars get stuck with one download pending. PROGRESS MY FRIENDS
It crashes before it can finish (I think)
playrust.com/play
We know already
playrust.com/play Shit crashes
Bah, damn thing froze Chrome on me, now to try with Firefox.
The two users who we saw playing on Rust, Turtleey and InsaneParrot, use Firefox according to their Facepunch accounts. [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] But Firefox crashes for me.
they are still working on it, don't try to play it until they open it up again, by putting the link back on the homepage
they are still working on it, don't try to play it until they open it up again, by putting the link back on the homepage
Why not

Sick of waiting because I'm an impatient bastard. Also, I think 24+ hours of downtime for a single update is somewhat shitty, but as I said, I'm an impatient bastard.
New Rust logo. [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] [thumb]http://cdn.imghack.se/images/59cb3e95a68b4e60e25cbe9643bd7ddf.png[/thumb] [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] Oh darn. [thumb]http://cdn.imghack.se/images/81c29dbf6a3ac51061dc208a71b2930e.png[/thumb]

Our numbers are increasing, even Garry himself is with us now. [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] Shh, punching bag is asleep.
Has anyone else been able to connect? Or are these guys just staring at the failed to connect to server screen? [thumb]http://cdn.imghack.se/images/ea4aebaf338c3bb9f9171306b2564774.png[/thumb]
Well, keep on tryin' lads, we've already gotten a new fancy loading screen and a new glowing, animated logo out of this venture.
We should be close, seems like they're just restarting the server. [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/JQDpmA.png[/thumb]
The client seems to download packages anew each time. Hope this will be fixed in the proper release of the update.
We should be close, seems like they're just restarting the server. [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/JQDpmA.png[/thumb]
It's almost like an ARG, we're getting closer and closer to the truth every refresh.
The client seems to download packages anew each time. Hope this will be fixed in the proper release of the update.
Helk said he was going to try and fix it in the next update, as in this one, a couple of days ago in chat. [editline]28th June 2013[/editline] It's just loading the downloaded files for me now, not re-downloading them, I'd say Helk has done it.
The client seems to download packages anew each time. Hope this will be fixed in the proper release of the update.
It doesn't redownload all the packages; if you clear your cache in Chrome then try, it will take a lot longer.
It doesn't redownload all the packages; if you clear your cache in Chrome then try, it will take a lot longer.
Yes, but it redownloads some. This was one of the issues the new revision was supposed to address. So I hope this will change as soon as the update is out officially.
