The old way was the command below.
system_message_name=[whatever]
But it no longer works so i was curious what the new command was.
I also attempted to add this to my config, it doesn't currently work, maybe its something the guys need to add back or perhaps they are going to leave it out.
I use HFBServers and I can't get this to run, I deleted any old files I had, did a fresh install of Magma, Rust++ plugin and Drop++ plugin, updated my steam files and tried to run the server. No luck. Not sure what to do.
1. Remove Rust ++ mod,
2. Update Rust using steam updater,
3. Download Magma Framework 1.0,
4. Edit Config to suit your server,
5. Restart Server.
then you should be good to go.
Do HFBServers allow full FTP access?
any ETA on the magma/rust++ fix?
any ETA on the magma/rust++ fix?
EquiFox17 is aware of some of the problems and posted this earlier.
Alright I knew little issues would appear when Merging Rust++ into Magma, I will fix those when I get back home. Thanks for reporting :)
Also please use our forums for Rust++ support, this thread is mainly for Magma questions, (Still ok though, but I would prefer it)

As far as I'm aware they don't, why do you need full FTP access?
The Magma Framework plugin has been sent too all GSP's that supports Rust ++

I prefer having full access, I know I can use the API, but I won't be able to do advanced modding past the API.

well, kinda, you still have access to the game server functions etc, we didn't stop access from directly using any of the rust server classes (like PlayerClient, NetUser etc..) thats all there still.

As you may be aware only a limited number of GSP's are currently running Rust servers, this is because the server files aren't currently available and they have to be chosen by Facepunch.
The ones that are chosen have to agree to terms and conditions, one of which is a NDA which means that they aren't allowed to give full FTP or DLL access out as then the files would be openly available for everyone.
Hope this help,
Dan

Thanks for the reply, I will try this provider and see how I like it. Also I have sent you a message in regards to the CM.
Worked, Thank you.
No problem, glad to be of assistance.
Can someone confirm that bags are not being left on the ground and people not losing stuff when they die?
Can someone confirm that bags are not being left on the ground and people not losing stuff when they die?
within the new config is:
keepitems=true/false
which allows you to decide if you want players to drop their items once they die.
some users are reporting that this is acting backwards and that when true players are dropping items instead of keeping them.
Hope this helps

did u restart the server after u changed it?
Item Crafting Table
Did I read something wrong in thinking that I could edit the craft table? The items and amounts required to craft an item. I thought that it was available for the release.
I see the loot tables, just not the others.
Can u fix that instako und that I can change the server system message name"magma"
In something else.

Has anyone managed to get a Plugin working yet?
What's the drop++ config? It just has enabled?
What's the drop++ config? It just has enabled?
First you need to run the mod which will create the tables then go back into the Drop++ folder and a new Tables folder should be there. I had the same problem.
After putting this on my server back packs are no longer dropping from dead players and they are keeping the gear they had. Ive got keep items set to false.
Anyone else have this issue?

change false to true :)
I shall do that, although its always been false...
Cheers
Does anyone know what setting 0 to the Weight on the loot tables does? I am guessing it makes it spawn no matter what? If that's the case what are the weapons spawn list? For example, MP5SpawnList the weight is set to 0 but where does this spawn?
I can't figure out how to change loot tables. I have installed Magma.
I went to File manager and went to save/magma/Drop++/Drop++.cfg but only get;
[Settings]
enabled=true
I went to rust server data/mods/config/DropParty and then I went into the Supply drops and removed the lines for Explosive charges ... but the supply drops are still dropping them for some reason.
When people say 'run the mod and then loot tables should be generated' what do you mean. I have installed the Magma mod and went into the server. How does one "run the mod"
Apologies for my noobishness.
Running the mod means starting the server after you have installed the mod. Also, did you restart the server after you changed the loot tables?

If it installed correctly, there should be a subfolder called "Tables". Otherwise, you might want to try a reinstall of Magma.
did you restart the server after you changed the loot tables?
Yes I did do a restart.
You should see a folder named 'Tables' in /Save/Magma/Drop++/
Version 1.0.1 will be released tomorrow to fix all the little issues we had with the first version.
-Rust++ Instako fixed
-Rust++ history fixed
-Rust++ Suicide won't announce in chat anymore
-Magma : Fixed some errors with Player location in the API.
-Magma : Added Player.TeleportTo(Player) and Player.TeleportTo(x, y, z)
