Make a new Windows profile. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-user-account
Follow the steps listened in "My computer is in a workgroup".
Log out and log into this new profile, and open hen Steam, log into your account (don't be worried if Steam didn't save your account credentials and you have to re-enter them), and try Rust.
Not worked :/
Reset your modem/router to factory defaults. I don't know what equipment you have, so I don't know how to do this. Turn the firewall back on in Windows, and then Google "(brand and model number) factory reset" if you need instructions. The model number should be on a sticker or label on the modem/router.
I think there are no more solutions and we should stop wasting time I think request a refund that I think will be possible :/
You don't get a refund after you've played a game for 90 hours.
Also, the game is in alpha.
Does the experimental build work for you? Click 'try experimental' when starting Rust.
its working but connection failed again . i know is in alpha but we can fix this probleme we have tried many solutions but it did not work , I do not know if I could replay
What does your firewall have for rules for Rust now? If they're unchecked, check them.
Also, factory reset your modem. It's the only thing I can think of short of reinstalling Windows, and that's a bit extreme. Something is preventing Rust from getting onto the Internet.
You're on a wired connection for all of this, right? If you're on wifi, get off of it immediately and try Rust again. And turn off the firewall before trying Rust. (No reboot, just turn it off.)
Hum sorry?
What does the firewall have for "Rust" entries now?
And are you on wifi, or on a wired connection to the modem/router?
There are 2 RUST with 2 box checked and public on and im on wifi
Go on wired if you possibly can.
Also, I want you to do this. Open Rust, and then wait for ten minutes and then try connecting. I have a hunch. Do something else while you wait, leave Rust open.

So what we did:
1) Disabled Hamache
2) IPConfig /Flushdns & Register DNS
3) Tried to disable AVAST (Will not able to and client wants to keep it as alternative is to uninstall)
4) Downloaded Malwarebytes and removed 80 malicious files.
5) We attempted to get access to the router however Tidj did not know the credentials (I have a feeling outbound ports were locked down.
6) Disabled the firewall
7) Tested connection VIA telnet (did not work)
I believe in order to further assist we would need access to the router to confirm if the ports are working or not.
However as an alternative. To confirm if its network or computer, if Tidj takes his computer to a friends house where he knows rust work and his computer still doesnt work we would know its a computer issue (virus/proxy/something bad downloaded) if it does work we would know its network. (Router ports are wrong or have been changed)
After reading through this, you might be better off just wiping your computer entirely and reinstalling Windows. Multiple antivirus programs is never a good idea especially since they don't even seem to be helping.
Besides, a format and reinstall would take less time than this troubleshooting and then at least everyone would know the state of the computer.
