People who got the game in July '13 and before that didn't pay a single dime for it. Myself included. So yes, a free copy.

But I guess my statement still applies to the majority.
Something like spawning with a metal door blueprint might be a good, subtle bonus.
It's a reward for backing the game that doesn't distract or ruin the gameplay of others.

I just now realized that if anything, you could have a Steam Achievement for it. The alpha testers will be a sure minority and I can't really predict the outcome, though.
What if you got a key that you could give out, but your key is your penis. So you mold your penis to match it and hand it out to friends. They can open your doors with it.
What about a special steam emoticon?
I can imagine that if it was a steam achievement, that would drive completionists insane.
This Thread is SO True, like, nobody else payed hundreds of Dolars to get a Rust Alpha key while waiting for hours to get it to the right amount that they could pay. They will have a fixed price and their will never be an "Amount" of Keys left on the Forums. Plus, we DID help with TONS of Bugs and some of us helped fix them by giving suggestions or just somple reporting about it. Finally, Some people kept up for months when it would come out and attended Give aways like I did for about 2 Months. So yes, I did vote that we should get something special for being the Alpha testers.
