Updates on hacking / cheating prevention? - Rust

The same thing happens when you sometimes get caught in a door, you get a somewhat annoying sanity-check kick, and you log back in. All of the current hacks that glitch and pass through objects could be tested this way, and don't need to lead to an immediate ban, just kick the player, and they will get really tired of it. The month-long wait for VAC bans is useless, instant kicks and then follow-up bans are what is needed.

I got nailed across a field" but legitimate, OBVIOUS hacking: - INSIDE a multi-story building by SEEING the character physically jump/fly from the ground to a window - Moving VERTICALLY from floor-to-floor up and down buildings - Literally walking THROUGH walls & doors as if there was simply nothing there? - instant headshot death by a 9mm pistol seconds after randomly respawning in multiple, various respawn points across the map - Visually sprinting across fields from one ore node to the next at 10x++ run speed - Flying. Literally flying. Like Tinker Bell. In a survival game. I use it to track how little is being done about the issue for my own personal use and to see if the ban waves are truly happening. We all know it, hacking is utterly rampant on the official servers, and just as bad on private although they -may- get locally banned, in either case they can destroy a player's weeks of work in minutes, after-the-fact bans won't help. There are a number of players (now, and in the past, like "Omega") on the official servers that boasted about hacking, and the recently notorious "Double Female" glitched into my house and I opened a door into this face! He then threatened to destroy all my boxes unless I logged out. I took my one C4 and pasted to the wall! What an utter dick... The biggest problem now is one of boredom. A lot of players have played the game out, and now have shifted to hacking to make up for the lack of "thrills", or in an asinine attempt to get an upper hand on the original hackers, but this is a hopeless downward spiral since they lose all conscience and just become like those they previously hated.
