That is very true. Except for aliens, I much prefer [B][I][U]IF THEY ADD ALIENS[/U][/I][/B] that they make it a very rare chance. And that when you do get abducted (or find a landed craft) the aliens aggro with their energy weapons that uses cells only obtainable through aliens.

Sounds more like a fallout game instead, would rather see this in a single player mode instead of multiplayer.

Fallout did do a good job with Mother Ship Zeta, but it's not a whole new area/story would be added. Just a quirky little random event that could pay out for the victim or just be an experience.

There already are some weird lights in the sky sometimes.
as far as i could take from the Trello Art page they redo the Mesh-Rock Modell, why not make it to rescouce noades too but with very poor profit, something like the trees for wood? how sounds this idea?

I honestly cannot agree with any sort of aliens. It just doesn't fit with the idea of Rust.
Rust is a wasteland at heart, radioactive cities with soon to be mutants roaming around. I don't see how aliens would fit into place, Alien technology would honestly be too over powered.

True, which is why it is only obtainable through the extremely rare event, and even that, the weapons are subject to the tool degradation system that will be implemented soon.
But yeah, I can understand what you are coming from. But little modded servers with this would be awesome
Alien... I don't think I can accept that, it is too "technological advanced". I think Rust is more to post apocalypse theme instead of science fiction or futuristic.
So far I really hooked to this game even those it still very bare. Much addictive compared to any completed games, as the sandbox style is really fun and challenging. I loves Stalker, and this game have the feeling of that title. There are quite some ideas can take from the Stalker series, or even Metro series.
- wide varieties of environment, abandoned facilities, abandoned HUGE facilities... underground areas, caves, etc
- can we swim / dive? underwater caves, flooded facilities...
- battery required to run electrical items such as flashlight, include laser attachment
- battery charger
- tools required to craft / repair modern weapons
Turning a few scrap metals into guns, as of now the gun crafting is too "easy". Guns are precision engineered items, it should require special tools to make. Tools can be rare to be found, that makes guns more precious.
- huge variation of armors, gas masks
- special non-craft full set armor
- exoskeleton...
- water, surely we will have this, how about craft various liquid/medicine with water
- water gathering method - stream, well, rain
- water contamination system, poisonous water source
- craft vodka / beers, energy drinks by combining various plants / herbs (specific plant gathering)
- distill water
- plantation?
- animal fat usage need to expand
- act as weapon or equipment lubricant
- glass crafting
- glass required for weapon scope & laser attachment
- solar panel?
- male / female character customization
- carrying weight limit
- sprint stamina
- world war I / II guns
- such less effective weapon should be more widely available than modern guns
- knife...
- simple vehicles (combustion engine is a little too high tech for this game... or too high tech for individual to get it done)
- eg: dog/horse cart, cycle...
- artifacts?! anomalies?! well, you know...
Improvements over existing functions:
- manual insert craft amount instead of click click click click 999 times
- reposition construction or house items in case mis-placed, someone lock himself in steel house yesterday... misconstruction LOL! (nvm saw this listed on Trello)

There's not going to be mutants, maybe mutated wild life, but not mutants. Dev's already stated they won't do it because it'd just be a reskin of zombies. Sorry :(. I wouldn't mind somekind of mutated army personel or something, something that can use the guns they carry and would explain why they have guns and ammo.

What I got from the trello is they're putting shit on the wildlife now? Idk, i'll wait till patch and see. And possibly tainted food. I think they're still thinking about a more permanent solution then the one they have with this patch, just trying to move away from zombies. The no mutants was from a AMA, but i think the shit AI could be better covered up if it was a enemy with a weapon..and kills the whole mil wep inclusion also.

I think a kind off like Search & Rescue AI team walking around the island. And depending on your humanity, if you're a hero they will give you some useful stuff (reaching from cloth to m4's) and if you're a bandit, they could open fire at you. I think that would be pretty cool!
