Not only that, but some people are at major disadvantages(mainly due to the webplayer.) It lags more than any other game I have played. Also, alot of people don't have those "monster" PCs that get a steady 60 fps at least. This is (personally) why I prefer PvE servers. because my PC is able to play the game, but not nearly as good as many others.

Because those people who enjoy trolling, and call PvE people carebears don't really want fair fights. They want to win. The more "carebears" they have on the PvP servers, the more kills they can get.
I don't see what the big deal is either way. If you don't like PvE, stay off PvE servers? And vice versa. I don't understand why children, or sadly, adults, feel the need to call someone else a name simply because of a preference. Calling someone a name for preferring PvE over PvP is similar to ridiculing someone for liking grilled chicken. It makes no sense.

Seriously though - I want the PvE servers back too, but I'd like raiding to be removed. Before you start charging me with pitchforks and fire and calling me a carebear, hear me out on this.
Raids belong in PvP. It's an integral, and awesome, part of the game. But it has no place in PvE. There's nothing you can do when someone decides to raid your house, aside from I suppose standing behind them and attempting to mildly annoy them while they take your stuff.
It's rather telling that I could raid someone with nothing more than a hatchet and a lot of patience, even if they're carrying M4 and full kevlar with all of the ammo in the world. Doesn't seem fair, does it?

You just want to have a fun time and relax, and don't want to deal with raiders, so hop on the PvE server and mess around for a while. But when you feel like REALLY playing, then you hop on PvP.

The thing with PvE is that even if your house is raided, keeping important things on you makes it not matter too much. Not everyone is going to get a metal door right off the bat, and keeping things in your house and hoping that no one will raid your house is actually kind of dumb. Regardless, if they have C4 the house doesn't even matter.
I dunno, kinda seems to me like playing a version of battlefield with no player damage. what's the point? sure i can drive some vehicles around, but ultimately one of the most influential mechanic of the game is missing.
i will say, too, that since the PvE server has been gone, 9/10 people I run into are friendly. I love it. makes it a different game, and perhaps things like PvE servers severely cripple that dynamic of the game. just an observation, and could just have been a momentary fluke. but thought it worth pointing out.

Well, with the sleepers active on PvE, you turn PvP active when you log out, and if you then get raided it wont matter of you got stuff on you or in boxes :)

Not sure if thats the best game to compare it with, since BF is only about killing the other guys, where in rust its just 1 of a few things you can do, but i do get what you mean.

Since when can you decide that? They added PvE servers before and if they have PvE servers surely the Dev's think differently to you? Or if not they would never have made PvE servers haha, what a stupid thing to say, you don't know what this game is, nobody does that's why it's an ever changing alpha xD
on pvp its only clan-wars, you raid 1 house and have 250+ of everything to build even more c4 for the next raid ....
I would like the PVE test server to come back online please as well...
I play PVP meow, but I did play PvE just to learn the game pre-sleeper. It's a great way to get into rust without getting raped most of the time.
