The good old community won't come back until we get official servers.
I plan to buy the game the moment it's possible again, and i agree that official servers are the best idea. One of the biggest things that turned me off of dayz was the fact that you had to play on random servers. Be it admins ruining the server, or lack of admins (so hackers running rampant) ruining it, something was always wrong.

You can find it under modded servers cause its a no sleeper server.
I got banned from a server last week because I managed to get inside someone's base with a box and a door. For Christ's sake: This has been a raiding tactic since day 1 of Rust alpha!
It seems as though everyone who has an ounce of skill - be it with aiming, raiding strategies or siege gear - will either have to keep their head down or get banned in this brave new world of Rust private server hosting.
Would be great to have the old gang back again. Insane, Rama, Tuck, Xant, Geogzm, Strelok, and all the original guys from Dynasty. Back and forth raiding laziest, ofrizz, teig, and co. Those were the days.
Yeah this is why I stopped playing a couple weeks ago, I talked to Gary on the these forums about how rent a server would ruin everything, and what do you know! I'll see how it is later on, hopefully it'll change.

It is a official server CAUSE i played on it before the private servers was introduced. It name was CENTRAL EUROPE NO SLEEPERS they renamed it when they added the server-filter (they also said that they renamed the official servers) IP is the same as ever just type in your console

Ideal-Hosting PLATRUST.EU or w/e was the first and original sponsored host for Rust, they announced and advertised and had support from mods.

Then, they get this genius idea to allow servers, and the constant alpha state (which you better have expected, is launching so many needed wipes people lose interest where they play and servers begin to thin out and your banking off ''Speculation'' that the servers will grow and fill.
- BMRF is the [B]ONLY[/B] semi-official server that ever hit/reached 100+ players since hosting shit, and now they are struggling to maintain ever since the introduction (and fail) of the whitelisted servers.
The game is a '' You make it'' type thing, and when theres only so much to do in the game, PEOPLE are required to keep things interesting, it's about to ''Steam launch'' in a state where US gamers feel like the games dying, people are bored and losing interest (re-read this sentence and ask yourself '' Aren't I playing an Alpha, we haven't even made it to beta'', while the EU scene (probably because they had EU hosting first) is just growing and franlky im pissed and jealous...

The "original servers" you are speaking of were added when they closed their own servers.. the devs don't have access to playrust.eu servers.

Its sad, really, what the game has become with so many servers. As of now, there is really only one server that I find fun to play, BMRF, seeing as though it is the only server with over 30 players on. US East Coast does too, so I might look into that one. Anywho, it has become a game where people really don't need to be afraid of anything. It's almost like every server is PvE with just ~6 people on each one. PvP is hard to come by on most servers, even the ones that are somewhat full. Just isn't the same game it used to be.
I remember the first day of playing on BMRF after private servers were first coming out. Was banned in about 3 days of playing, because of being accused of aimbot.

Yep, I've lost my addiction to rust because of those private servers. Even though the enjoyment of rust, lasted since 2 months ago, I feel a bit nostalgic when there were official servers with people I know of. Man I hope the devs don't ruin such a good opportunity of a game.

that was killerkeemstar, kid was angry we owned him so he started drama and attacking our group on other networks. little to say but i put the fear of god in him, remove him from twitch forever, and hold his twitter for future confrontations incase he decided to come back..
long story short, raided him igname and took away a source of income, (now his last income is youtube and parents)
