Might be an interesting idea to be able to make graphite filters for a gasmask to filter out fallout in rad zones. Or create graphite paste, and smear it over any peice of clothing to give it a slight rad protection buff.
I think it would be a neat idea if you were able to view all of the items that are submitted by players and rate them. Would help speed up the process of bad items versus good items.

I agree Rating Items people submit would be ideal! you could treat it like "hot or not" but instead of people.. you can make it items people rate! Then people could click on the "whats hot" button and see all the top rated items and you guys as dev's could pull from those ideas!
could even go one step farther in that you need to submit [B]one idea[/B] before you can rate the rest of the site.. This keeps the constant flow of items coming into the website.

what kind of models are possible?
Fp-models (things what only the player can see, holding the items)
models what other ppl can see too? (like the universal m4 model for all rifles, or hatchet for all tools)
or models which can be placed (building elements, furniture)
are enviroment models possible too? like more civil buildings, rockstructures, soemthing you could place with mapeditor.
what are the best poly amounts? Just a number for orientation, so we don't make too detailed models^^

I haven't moved onto viewmodels/buildings yet - but that is included in the plan.
Right now these are world models, like when you drop the item in the world this model will show etc
Garry or Dev Team one of the new items are wrong, raspberries are red.

Me, my friend, and many people have a huge problems with [B]game freezes[/B]. I tried sound drivers, game settings, fresh OS, other servers, etc etc. This makes game barely playable.

They're not really adding this stuff right now, they're just taking ideas, and possibly adding it later. At some point the core content is going to have to interact with the content, so it helps to have a good idea of what your content is going to be. The guys at Facepunch probably have a good idea of what content there is going to be, but community ideas might have unorthodox functionality and they wouldn't want to be caught in a situation where they say "oh, damn, wish we'd thought of that a lot sooner, now it's going to be a huge pain to try to do this."
That's my impression, anyway.
This is a Exciting new Tool Thanks Gary. Can't wait till we can use it legit and submit ideas. This kind of things makes your gamers feel empowered and part of the game. Way to go! Plus I'm sure it takes the strain off you guys for Developing X amount of items per patch. Great Thinking!
Also will people be able to submit Clothing Ideas and Armor Ideas for the characters? I understand there is only one type of "male" model and females will at some point be added. I Can't tell you how many people will sit and design underwear and swimsuits for women / female models once implemented.. lol and no.. not me! haha
Converted .fbx files don't upload for me [even though they work fine in unity] - also tried using autodesk's fbx converter - still didn't upload/do anything.
Maybe an option to upload models that don't need to be viewed inside that unity web viewer would be nice, seems the issue originates from that.
