"Rubus occidentalis" just looked it up well found, still need to change the name tho. lol [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubus_occidentalis[/url] If you look to the center of the of the Blackberry on the rust icon you will notice the "torus" which holds the berry to the plant, when you pick a raspberry that is left behind on the plant itself, It one of the way of telling a Black raspberry from a black berry. thank you for that i love being educated, i now know something i did not when i woke up. :)

nope he's a moron and not really into the modding community the rest of us are. Hell being a part of "making a game" is a dream for some of us we thoroughly enjoy it. And IF your item IS used your soo happy that you had a part in helping make a great game. He just doesn't get it.

I haven't gone through the entire thread admitedly, but is DanC the art director? I always assumed anything accepted would be redone by the core team. Why? To fit the art direction and color swatch. Thus, if the art team wants assets ready to drop in if accepted, we need access to the Rust art design document. Along with this, with world models we would need the ppi/cm. Basically so a person could get the asset above or at the same texture density of the game. The last thing I'm sure you all want is immersion breakage with diffetent textel density obvious to the player. The Rust team now have a HUGE obstacle that has only come to light after creating this site. You are moving to Unity 5. Which means someone who correctly makes a PBR asset won't be able to upload the materials correctly since the uploader is setup for Unity 4. Vice versa as well, as any material asset made at this time will have to be remade by the uploader when the switch happens.
I just like putting the ideas forward, I have tried blender and i can produce a Model and i am proficient at 2D art and image manipulation (worked as a graphic designer) but for some reason i just can't marry the 2 together, i just cant ever get the texture to place right on the mesh. Crowd sourcing. Smart. Perhaps you can make a Rust SDK that is an add on to the Unity Devkit and have it bundle an item developper, map editor and whatnot. Either way, this is a definitive step forward in the right direction. What easier way to get custom weapons than to sample those who immerse themselves' creativity? -Rusty84T
