You really should use the search function, but try [B]gfx.ssaa false[/B] and [B]gfx.ssao false[/B] to turn off antialiasing and ambient occlusion.
Playing the game in a smaller resolution (above 1280x720 or else the UI gets screwy because the resolution's too small) helps because that means less pixels for your video card to have to worry about in the first place, leading to smaller framebuffers being drawn, which should help performance some.
Also just post your specs already. That's the first thing you should do when asking for help with performance, because that establishes a baseline. It's like going to a doctor and saying "I feel sick" and then refusing to answer [I]any more questions[/I] and asking for a prescription that will cure it and make you feel better. You need to give us some basic info if you want anything to come back. Garbage in, garbage out. Nothing in, nothing out.

Well there isn't much more you can do. You said use "console commands" and the only games you gave examples of were source games. Games that run on a 10 year old engine might I add. Rust has only a couple a useful console commands and all those were listed in the thread.

Specs are important because if you don't have good enough specs no matter what you do the game will run like shit. So if the game runs like shit it will continue to do so until you upgrade. And judging by the way you are hesitant to post your specs I'm assuming you have a laptop.

Your systems specifications can have a direct impact on the steps that need to be taken to improve the games performance in your specific environment. The great thing about PCs is that you can have a system tailored specifically to your needs. With that freedom comes issues that are specific to your hardware. Without knowing the specifications of your system, there is very little that anyone can do to help you.

If you post your computer specifications, then it will be possible for people to point optimizations or driver changes for hardware, as well as notify you of any tweaks that can be done to help your computer run faster.
I have no experience or knowledge of how to do this, but the people you keep railing against do, and unless you post the specification of the machine you use, it is very hard to help.
It is same as asking me "palmpou replace the overhead shaft" without telling me what on earth I am working on.
