I want you to go to the top of the forum and click on Search. Search is kind of weird so follow my instructions.
Click on the leftmost tab of the two tabs, because you will default to the right-hand tab with the basic search that's shitty for our needs here.
Scroll down and select the Rust subforum in the forum list. Search for the keywords "performance" and "gfx.ssaa". The reason I want you to search for both of these is because just searching for performance will get you tons of shit.
Change the drop-down for range to search and change it to a month.
You will soon come across a thread with a number of console commands for turning off/down various aspects of Rust's graphics. Some of these will fuck things up some.
This thread has been made on an almost daily basis, and in the recent past it has gone more successfully than this.

I've tried it before, and no, I'm not trolling you. Long time ago (Actually, not that long, about a decade and a half) libraries used to answer any question for people by calling into Help Desks nationally. This College (University) continues to do the same, and it's quite helpful. If you really want help, and you want expert, University / PH.D answers to your questions, call that number, and hope for the best.
If you're told that a good option might be to buy a new computer, don't bitch, just accept it. If they give you an answer that's free, but saves you hassle, don't bitch, don't gloat. be humble, and get on your fucking way.
I despise you, but that doesn't mean I can't try to help a bit. Also, they MIGHT be closed right now, so save that link / number and deal with it in the morning, or at best convince. Give them patience, and be kind. Also offer to do things to help them, help you. Otherwise you'll never get a decent answer, or an answer at all for means to an end.
