I seriously wonder if this Dark.lord is actually serious or just a troll mastermind?
Anyway now we know why you want a no recoil script for your mouse so badly

In a few days there will be a topic written by him : VAC_banned bug ? I was just farming and then I get this after putting so much work in the little time I have as an adult ... outrageous, I want my money back !
then the game isn't for you
its a game you have to be active on. If you can't be active, you won't have a lot of fun
Actually that's not your decision, thats facepunch's. In order to have the biggest net for a player base to purchase upon release, they might think of more ways in vanilla to allow play without this excess time to babysit structures. As it is I did say I play on slow rot servers, which work fine. What I think you mean is the server and play-style you choose aren't for me.
I'm not alone in encountering this. A famous example would be if you watch the Tuna Bandits, they pretty much tell the audience they only play one day every once in awhile and get content from that (when on other servers than their own). They further explain, because of this they don't bother most time with bases, and to get up to speed as quick as possible, bandit and hide things in dem hills.
I personally don't like being a bandit, and being almost forced to if I can't babysit a stash. Its not the game, it's the chosen playstyle and server setup that influence this. Anyhow, please don't think I'm trolling like the original OP, just giving a perspective not heard often.
There are plenty of players who are pretty old, try find some in your age range and make a group or something. Or you know what they say, if you can't beat em' - join em'.
but he already clearly stated that he wont play in a group "because most of them are filled with kiddies both 12 y/o and 25 y/o, same mentality".
meanwhile http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1387869
I'm a 21 y/o male with a job and a 17 month old child, and I've found plenty of ways to enjoy this game. Don't let little dicks piss you off. This game needs to come with a warning label that says, "not recommended for those with little to no patience/those with anger problems." And I mean this literally, I'm not trying to be funny. This game is made up of taking risks that can force you to lose all your progress, and it's frustrating as shit. The difference between people who stick around and start over and those who rage quit and blame it on whatever they blame it on, game mechanics, desync issues, 12 y/o little shits, is their ability to let shit go. If you can get over the way the game plays in it's current state, you'll have fun. If you can't, then you won't. But it's not because you're an adult and everyone else is kids.
well considering English is just a 3rd language i know, so yeah its not perfect.

Pretty sure most languages capitalize the first letter of every sentence, as well as punctuate the end (and sometimes even the beginning!)

I have a full time job, 6 days a week, yet I can still manage enough play time to get on and build myself a base. A base, that can go quite a bit of time without being touched. I've consistently gotten myself to the endgame before the seemingly mandatory weekly server wipes admins are doing these days. And I'm not even very good, I lose a lot of fights. Sweet talk yourself some allies, and your base becomes even more secure.
And to prevent base decay you literally just have to get inside your base ONCE a day. Not even for a period of time, you literally just have to log in and back out again, and decay is nothing.
This game is designed for groups (clans) as hunters and enjoy
For single players intended to be a victim and suffer.
This game is designed for groups (clans) as hunters and enjoy

This is so true.
I'm just waiting for them to include the server files (which seems to be upcoming, based on the Trello) so that people can host private-ish servers without forking over their left nut to some rip-off company.
I know most people aren't as fortunate as me (I'm only 17, but my dad has a pretty good-paying job) but I have access to a server computer, and the restriction of the server files has been my only dislike of the developers so far.
Don't build your house right next to radtown? Viola. Problem solved.
I had a fortress on the edge of the outlands and I didn't get raided, prodded or poked once and it was still a quick trip to the main road and the towns.
Play on a smaller server, player on a non-pvp or pvp-event only server or a no-raid server or whatever...use your imagination.
You must be very bad to live soo far away that you don't want anyone to be able to shoot at you. That's why u accuse everyone of hacks eh?

You just described what I call babysitting. Anyhow, long decay servers work, but usually not as many players and they usually have one mod or another that overly changes Vanilla. Love to host my own for us career types. I have a physical box in a data center, but until Gary opens up availability, not gonna happen.
Look at it this way OP, those kids will suck at life when they are your age. Cheer up. :)
I have a job and don't play more than a few hours a day, but I get it's a game, and so what if I need to start over occasionally.
Ditto. I run my own business, have a family and spend far more time on other hobbies (producing music) than I do playing games.
I used to be a BIG gaming fan. But there came a point when I realised there are more fulfilling things to do in life. And what do games ultimately leave you with? A save file that nobody else will ever care about.
That's not to say games are pointless. They can be great fun. But people tend to place far more importance on them than they warrant, especially when they get obsessed.
Rust is actually a neat idea. A game where your stuff will ultimately decay to nothing. Leaving nothing. Which sums up gaming very nicely.
I say embrace this concept, have fun and don't worry about your stuff in the game. It's worthless anyway. And if you get frustrated go do something more worthwhile instead. Life's too short to worry about what happens on a Rust server :)

da fuq...what happened to the immature "adult" who was "#ranting"
we work, we sleep, and we play for 2 hours a day (usually).
while those damn kiddies finish school and sit in front of the monitor until 4am with 15 of their friends...
every damn day after work i log in just to find out that im dead, my sleeping bag was destroyed, and my house looted!
and while im trying to spend my in game time as productively as possible, most of the time i got owned by some 12 y/olds kiddies that ambush me
while all i do is running naked gathering basic resources.
this is bullshit!
and no, i wont join clans, because most of them are filled with kiddies both 12 y/o and 25 y/o, same mentality,
i bet if they could, they would of spend their time throwing poop on each other.
#rant
Once again we have a problem and if it had servers with group it could solve this problem and other problem I have encounter in the past.
I understand your pain, but it's the costs to playing the game. Since you still play it and are here, you are still interested in it. If you want to have fun int he game you need to accept these things and the consequences you risk. But just remember, it's still in alpha. So I'm sure that the game in some point will make that type of consideration. Considering how you can you effectively play a survival game when you are away from the game more than 2/3s of the days you play. But you could have expressed yourself a bit better. You talk so poorly about kiddies, but you are kind of acting like one yourself.
Try my server out. We want Rust time to be efficient. If you want to go farm go for it, if you don't then loot some rad town and get your supplies. Then run over to hangar for a gun battle! 24/7 daytime so there's no wasted time during night.
New! :)

First, thanks for the unrelated and totally random shitpost reply.
Secondly, I don't accuse "everyone of hacks." just people who are obviously using hacks.
Third, since you brought it up yourself I'll be happy to point out how full of shit you are.
You claim that a VAC banned Steam account with your name that used the same avatar as your Youtube channel was like totally not yours.
You then said that this was your one and only Steam account, the only Steam account you've ever used, that is just barely over 3 months old.
Yet on your own Youtube channel you have videos of you playing Steam games and those videos are older than your "only" Steam account. So far your only response to that has been, "huh huh, get guud kids." so take your lies, constant epeen stroking and bullshit somewhere where people might be impressed.
God has entered the thread :P Well played ^.^ lol
First, thanks for the unrelated and totally random shitpost reply.

My point exactly he just did that to mine too :v: guess he has to go back to his adult motorcycle .

This game is not kind to the casual player. I suggest you join a no raid no pvp server, or find another game. Option 2 is joining a group, There are plenty of mature players, most of the people I hang out with are 30 or older. Hell I know one in her 60's
Hey dark.lord, did you get the Script for the G500 working? You cannot get private messages. Fix it in the options tab and send me a PM so I know it's open.
Dark.Lord
We will take you in, we can house you in 1 of our disgustingly massive mansions.
I agree with the OP. Rust wasn't "designed" for groups as hunters, it was "designed" as a Survival game. I know these kids (and when you are over 60 like me - you get to call them 'kids') were raised on video combat games and don't seem to understand how different this game CAN be.
You don't need to go to a PVE server. You just need to find a server where the ADMINS exercise some control over these barbarian hordes. Most servers only care about Player counts and let the populus run wild. You wanna get banned on MY server? Just give me ANY attitude/backtalk/defiance or try to start an argument with me. You want to raid my population into extinction? Banned You want to constantly KOS? banned You want to play nice, be friendly, and help improve EVERYONE's enjoyment of the game? Welcome Home!
