On a side note, what if frequent/non-leathal exposure to radiation begins to change players? Potentially with buffs as well as debuffs.
Though this might be too far into fantasy.
thats a great idea, and maybe when they add rivers and lakes, the water could become radioactive for a short while, leading to brief skrimishes and people trying to get the last 'good' water.
You'd also want it to damage guns/items if that rad suit wasn't on...

Radiation / Acid rain doesn't really damage materials though, it just irradiates them. Usually more harmful effects occur to biological life.

Doesn't make much sense, wouldn't the ground and everything stay radioactive? Something sort of like acid rain would make more sense, even though it wouldn't really be that acidic
