It doesn't actually surprise me to hear that at all but there has to be one or two in there somewhere! If not... fabricate one dammit! Still loving the accuracy and organization of your team in addition to your editing. I'm a fanboy now I guess ;)
Hey Skream,
I've done the whole YouTube thing and I know how good it feels when people tell you how much they like your video. So to start off, I love your videos, all of them are wonderful and informative. Now with that said, I am interested in seeing how you will grow. So here is some food for thought:
What if at certain key moments, you lower the video's volume and layer a voice over. By adding commentary, you could explain the mistakes your opponents made and why you came out on top. The commentary can also explain things like: "Cons and Pros to having certain mods on each weapon", etc...
I really liked the transition at 14:27, usually transitions like this are risky due to timing and not everyone can pull it off, but you nailed it! So kudos to you! :D on some of your earlier eps. *cough* *cough* Ep. 5. -.-" Your voice and at a few points the voice of your friends are way too loud, almost ear bleeding, try and balance the voices so that it neither covers the game volume nor covered by it.
(Examples:)
In Ep. 5 your voices are way too loud, not only covering the intensity of the firefight, but also hurting the viewer's ears. Conversely, in Ep. 6 your voices are way too low, getting covered by the intensity of the firefight and making it hard to make out what you or your friends are saying.
In the multimedia industry, there is a term for what your videos are lacking; "The Sweet Spot", this means total video and sound balance. Since you are not filming, video sweet spot does not pertain to you. However, you can control the sound sweet spot. There should never be a sound that totally dominates the other sounds, unless it's on purpose (like a commentary).
I'll leave it at that for now. :) Good luck and happy rusting! :D
Thanks for this awesome advice. Also about the audio I am using software that I am not used to so I am experimenting and trying to get things perfect. I see the issues with audio but it's really time consuming to get it exact, our voices vary in loudness and it makes it all very difficult to take into account. I am getting a new microphone soon so hopefully that will help. I just wanted you to know I am aware, other than that buddy thank you for your awesome post! :)

No problem. :) You probably know which mic. you already want, I recommend Yeti microphone. It will give your voice a deeper and fuller sound. The best set up i have seen is a Yeti microphone (attached pop filter) <- You can easily make a makeshift one, costing you about $1-5 with a boom stick for video sound and use a headset to communicate with your team.
Audio editing is a very delicate process, but when you get that sound just right and it all moves and flows together like a stream, I promise all those editing hours will pay off. :)

I was going to get a new headset in the mean time. However I am saving up for a decent mic. Pop filter and a stand which I can't move around at my disposal :) within the next few months I hope to have all this :) If you have any tips on audio equalizing please share :)
It's nice to see someone who understands that sometimes it can literally consume a whole day to edit render and upload a video.
Nice video. Nice aim skills. But what I don't like that u guys kill everyone. U would atleast spare some new spawns. And 1 of ur friends sounds really GAY LOL... Im not Joking on that one. He does sound GAY :>

I am a bandit. I usually only kill people who have weapons. Take in mind that I record on servers that are wiped recently so not everybody has the best gear. Also I can assure you that none of my friends are gay, not that it should ever matter what anyone's sexuality is ... Its probably just their accent.

This video will save you some massive pounds!
( A reasonably expensive Pop filter will cost you at most £29.94).
(Instead, if you make one like this video, it will cost somewhere from £0.6-2.99, depending on what store you go to). <- these are only estimates, not quite sure what the current GBP rate is. Round up a few or so. Bottom line: this will save you massive pounds that can be used to fund the more expensive items. To be honest, I've done it all. I've bought the yeti pop filter clone, other company pop filters, and made a makeshift one. To the untrained ear; it all sounds the same, to the trained ear; there is such a small difference, unless you are OCD it shouldn't matter.
As for a boom stick, I would only recommend one to friends:
RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm <- £59.26 (About, I Wish I could give you an accurate amount, but this is as close as i can get for you.) :suicide: I know this seems extravagant, but that's why I recommend crafting your own pop filter. Just make sure you have a workbench and a repair bench near by, because after a long period of use, a makeshift pop filter's durability will decrease. See what I just did there?
As for a mic, I recommend the Yeti Blue Microphone models. Until you get much bigger on YouTube and get into far more advanced editing, just buy the cheaper of the two. The Yeti Pro has better features, however most of them are unnecessary for what you will be using it for.
Blue Yeti Standard Silver = £83.75 <- More for Commentary
Blue Yeti Pro Condenser Multi-pattern Microphone = £143.59 <- Mostly for Music recording
I know it's expensive, but there is a reason why. Watch some recent Boogie2988 videos on Youtube, he uses yeti products.
Watch this to the end as its thrilling throughout!
This video took a long time for me to make so if you enjoyed please leave some feedback!

Great video. How do you guys get that tooltip on the top center of your screen telling you who you just killed, and how many meters away they were? Will sub!
that was actually entirely watchable because you're skilled yet not a pretentious cock sucking douche about it like anyone else who would be considered a "youtube wannabe"

Thanks this is really useful. I want the AT2020 USB. I am just looking around the market for a stand and shock mount. The problem with the blue products is that you have to buy their branded shock mount/pop filter.
