I hate these threads people say they didn't hack then there is a agrument. VAC never lies. You got banned. Buy a new copy.
If the truth hurts, change. Valve does not get this wrong. Has it? Sure. But what is that percentage? As someone said, your chances of winning the lottery are higher than getting a false positive. Essentially, acting like you didn't cheat makes you look and sound foolish. Grow a pair and admit the truth instead of playing games that even 10 year olds can clearly see are hogwash. I'd have more sympathy for you, if you were at least honest about things. Until then, I'm going to call it as I see it.
Seriously, if someone said, "I cheated", and then realized it was wrong and that getting caught has hampered their ability to play and acknowledge it as a fair price to pay for their crimes... I'd be more likely to say "I hope you've learned your lesson and take it seriously going forward" with respect for someone that learned and manned up about it. As is, liars and cheaters go hand in hand. So I have two things to say...

I'm a bit late, but here goes: Facepunch cannot look into, give information about or overturn VAC bans. You would have to contact Valve with regards to this. While Facepunch makes the game, Valve is in charge of VAC(Valve Anti Hack). Just know in advanced that Valve is 99% unlikely to divulge the exact thing that caused the VAC ban. The odds of your account getting unVAC'ed are also quite low barring some kind of widespread false positive that has affected others and is publicly acknowledged(in other words, there is an announcement from Valve about it, NOT the case where there are thousands of people who were caught cheating yet claim false positive).
While I know that VAC and Cheatpunch arn't fool-proof, I seriously doubt either one is tracking/banning off of your browser history, and i really doubt there's some nefarious plan to steal all your CC info and leave when Valve is beyond fucking rich and Facepunch is getting there. I could see some intern/emloyee that would try to, but I don't think they'd get too far. I wish people would keep things in context, and stop "OMGZ EVIL COMPANY TRACKING MY BROWSER HISTORY."
What's even funnier is I bet you have a webcam...and all the people freaking about this has webcams...When someone could be watching you on that webcam 24/7..That's far more freakier then someone searching your browser history -_-.

If you're VAC banned, there's no way you're getting that VAC removed other than through Valve, who are highly unlikely to remove the VAC ban.
You can't pay your way out of this unless you make another Steam account and rebuy Rust.

What bounty are you talking about? This thread is talking about Valve Anti-Cheat bans for cheating. If you are talking about a bounty on one server because the players have made a reward for killing you, that has nothing to do with this thread at all.

In little rad last night I tried to jump at the base of the 2 story building with the ramp inside to look through window to see if the loot had spawned. I lagged and was able to jump up to the ledge on the second story. I lol'd to my friends and joked that I was going to get vac banned.
That being said I'm certain that I won't be. You cheated.

VAC does not look at gameplay, it looks at your game files vs what's in the current game build that everyone else uses. If you modify your game files to give you an unfair advantage (a hack) over other players you are most likely going to be VAC banned.
