If the video and motions can be reproduced, while also showing that there are no other programs running in the background that IS relevant. And since that is what the second video did your reply to that issue is moot.
That video could easily be debunked by having a cheater replicate it with a background process.
That video could easily be debunked by having a cheater replicate it with a background process.
Yes - let us throw around baseless conspiracy theories. ;D I am sure that will resolve matters here quickly.
Yes - let us throw around baseless conspiracy theories. ;D I am sure that will resolve matters here quickly.
There is no black or white answer for this thread. Sorry to disappoint you Leon.
There is no black or white answer for this thread. Sorry to disappoint you Leon.
This is very true, there is no black or white answer to this thread. There is a short video accusation. The only side of the argument giving actual arguments is the side pleading innocence. Lets take a second to say that Trausi could have cropped Grimmy's face cam into a video of him cheating. Or perhaps Trausi could have Clipped miliseconds from the video to make the recoil look even less. Does that sound ridiculous? Yes. So why do you guys keep coming up with bologna ways that he can fake a video to support his cause. The only reason there is no true black or white to this thread is because aside from showing all you people, in person, the he doesn't have hacks he cannot post a video of 100% factual proof of innocence without someone saying, oh he probably summoned demons from hell to posses his mouse and VAC ban doen't catch that. Okay obviously no one said that (yet), but some of these theories are L-L-L-Ludacris! You can look at both sides with the possibility of tampering, BUT Grimmybear isn't arguing for that, he trying to show his gun control. Look at what we have here, throughout this thread: GrimmyBear is accused, what does he do, he tries to prove his innocence, then the accuser gives up and now Grimmybear is the only one who is worse off from this whole endeavor, (and the great numbers of viewers he had amassed by this point).
Wow this is still going
There is no black or white answer for this thread. Sorry to disappoint you Leon.
Was not aware that I ever suggested that.
Was not aware that I ever suggested that.
You are implying I am throwing around some tin foil theory because you have never personally experience the situation that I presented. Subtly is extremely important when dealing with twitch based donation scams. Not that I am implying grimmy wishes to go the fake mlg route and build a fan base so he can stealth toggle amazing plays to get paid but such a wild situation is just as plausible as him manually controlling rng inputs. There is no black or white answer to this thread. Again, I'm sorry to disappoint.

If you are implying that he is trying to "go the fake mlg route" then why would he be on Rust if he is way more experienced at Counter Strike? Seems a bit odd. You must not be familiar with his streaming if you think that he would use hacks/toggles to amass a larger fan base. Especially because his fan base was growing, before this video even took place, and it was growing fast. Leon did not appear to be saying that this is a black or white thread either time. What you did in stating that he was you built up a straw-man argument. dont know what im talking about? Try looking up straw man fallacy. Basically it states that you built up a separate part of an argument, only to tear it down and stand in the rubble, looking victorious as hell, when really you are not so smart.

Someone presents their opinion and I presented a plausible debunk which in turn was responded by a third party about tin foil. My response was a legitimate shutdown to his theory and nothing can change that so don't start implying that I attempting to sound like a sophisticated gentlemen when I am simply stating facts to questions previously answered. Now to answer your question. No I do not think that grimmy's plan all along was to start up a twitch scam. However I do feel that someone who has the skill to counter the rng system implemented had a level of skill higher then that of the average professional gamer and they should have zero issues just landing head shots from those ranges as opposed to chaining body shots. And it is that in which causes me to question the legitimacy of grimmy.

So basically You question his legitimacy due to his lack of skill? So if he had gotten all head shots it would have been more obvious to you that he wasn't using a hack? That is a strange way to look at it. Your plausible debunk is not so much plausible as it is feasible. Plausible implies that its what probably happened where as I'd say it's no more than possibility. Possibility is kind of a stretch though, because now Grimmybear would be bringing people in on this alleged scam with him. Again it IS possible that he has a cheater he is using to replicate his alleged cheats, but it is just as possible, if not more so, that he is telling the truth.

You did throw out a conspiracy theory, and you had absolutely nothing to back up your claims. Everything I said was factual. I was mocking your suggestion that this matter is black & white, because I never once made that claim. If you say otherwise, even though I am telling you that I never once said that or even suggested it, then you are putting words in my mouth, which is what narcissists do. Are you a narcissist?

There's no such thing as predicting randomized outcomes.
There's no such thing as countering RNG. There's no such thing as predicting randomized outcomes.
If you know that for a fact, then you can easily end this argument by providing the cold hard numbers involved. It is a widely known belief that silencers do, in-fact, lessen the damage output of any weapon it is attached with. This belief had nothing to back it up, and was eventually dis-proven, although many players still believe in that falsity. Until you provide the numbers, all you are really doing is throwing around your opinions. Am I saying you are wrong until you provide the numbers? No. But you keep arguing, trying way too hard by arguing with most people here for an extended amount of time. So at this point, maybe you can dedicate some of that arguing time into finding indisputable proof towards your claim that is not subjective, like this video provided in this thread.
why the fuck are people wtill giving attention to this thread? who gives a fuck if he did use cheats, VAC will handle it. Now how about everyone just forgets it and moves on for fuck's sake.

Sure I have no evidence of my claim. However that is the point of those types of cheats. It's my personal opinion that something about that part of his stream made no sense from such a high caliber play. The ability to control a randomly generated number 11 times in a row is hands down the second most impressive feat in video gaming I have ever seen. To sum up my own personal opinion if I had the power to trigger a vac ban on his account I would not because I completely agree that you would need 100% irrefutable proof. However if I owned my own rust server you better believe he would be banned from it.

I just really do not like it when people take my words out of context - consider the matter dropped on my end.

The reason I didn't headshot those two people is because they are close range and I prefer to spray in that distance because any movement from them is a large movement of my crosshair which often results in me missing. 2. What would my motive even be to cheat while streaming in a non-competitive game? I am not a rust streamer, I was donated rust and was playing it for fun. I streamed counter-strike esea matches and scrims and didn't cheat so I don't understand why you think I would cheat with 100 hours in rust. 3. So it's your opinion that I am some kind of super-stealth-hacker who paid for some kind of amazing undetectable cheat, and you believe that this is the case over the simple fact that I can control recoil well because I've competed in fps games for 10 years of my life. Also, again, not that it matters but the 11 round spray was a 4 round spray to a 7 round spray.. and I have sprays up to 15 bullets recorded while showing processes that look better than the video. *edit* Also I have no problem at all with people speculating that I cheat. The only thing that really sucks is that this situation isn't black and white (everyone can agree on this) and my twitch account was taken down. People are entitled to their opinions and being called a cheater is a compliment to those who aren't cheating, but it's not a compliment at all when someone causes something you love doing to be taken away from you on false accusations.
How do you post a video in your thread instead of just the link to the video? Made a post a couple days ago with a vid and wasnt able to do so..
why the fuck are people wtill giving attention to this thread? who gives a fuck if he did use cheats, VAC will handle it. Now how about everyone just forgets it and moves on for fuck's sake.
This is called a debate, where people separate to their sides and attempt to present a better case for the side they have chosen. The thread is (probably) still going due to the debates civil nature. There has been very little name calling, flaming, or unpleasantness. Why are folks so obsessed about its length or time active, if they are not being forced to read it?

Do you know what random means? If you're asking why I'm so sure it's random regarding horizontal recoil, take an m4 and spray on wood and you'll see a different horizontal pattern every time, furthermore when the old Rust was still being updated it was in one of the patch notes that horizontal recoil was now random.

If you know what you are talking about, then you should be able to find this randomization variable you keep speaking of.
Change https to http in the YouTube URL.
Thanks!
I've seen no recoil. This is recoil.
There is no such thing as "random" in programing, even a "Random" number generator is controlled by an algorithm that is made by the programmers.
And you're saying Grimmy knows this algorithm and can predict the outcomes? I mean can we stay for real here?
And you're saying Grimmy knows this algorithm and can predict the outcomes? I mean can we stay for real here?
no one has claimed this. I definitely didn't and the only knowledge I had was from playing lots of battlefield servers. My muscle memory on sprays is entirely from CS and CS:GO
And you're saying Grimmy knows this algorithm and can predict the outcomes? I mean can we stay for real here?
Way to miss the point entirely. The point we are making is that burden of proof is on those that made the original argument - which falls in the lap of the accusers in this case. If you know what you are talking about, and have in-depth knowledge of Rust's technical aspects, then you should have no issue proving your claims by providing the randomizer variable you keep throwing your weight behind. If you do not know how to find this algorithm, then that just shows me that you are talking out of your ass, and creating technical arguments through whatever confirmation bias your head can create on the spot.
And you're saying Grimmy knows this algorithm and can predict the outcomes? I mean can we stay for real here?
The point was to correct the faulty term you chose to use. All along you have dodged questions, ignored reply's, and been downright snide in your "views". So i see no reason to give you any better treatment. You used faulty terms and where corrected.
i'm repeating myself here of course, but none of you can prove your opinions with substantial, non-subjective proof. play nice with each other, and respect your difference of opinions.
