because things always change when the progress of the game enters a new stage. its what happens. most ppl dont play from closed alpha to know this. but it will normalize. or to say become the new normal and the players that dont like will quit playing and all the ppl that do will be playing with the noobs that didnt know the difference
I know everyone's about to start hating on me but I've been playing rust for a long time now and now that the official release came out there's people everywhere. I see like 3 deathbags every 5 seconds on roads and I can't even run around and get supplies without noobs hitting me with rocks. It just doesn't feel the same now that rust is filled with 10 and 11 year olds complaning about seeing dicks in the game. I posted this thread to see if anyone feels the same way?
i totally disagree
Guys, it's early access, we're dealing with alot of players, we're setting up more servers, no pvp servers, and fixing network issues as we go, give us a little bit of time to sort this stuff out it's only been out for like 36 hours! If you're having trouble with PvP try on a no-pvp server at first
We're doing the best we can guys, thanks for playing
facepunch guys doing a good job imo. Personally i was concerned a little bit about private servers but as its turned out so far its looking pretty good. If the player counter is fixed (i think so, more accurate anyway) like they say and they have reorganised server lists its much easier to find your last server or to look for one.
Im loving this game already and its not even finished :)
Would love to see some 'encouragement' features ingame to promote people to group up and build towns etc. Anyway im rambling now...and at work.
Games not runined with people playing....
So before the official steam release people were complaining that there were too many servers but not enough players. Now we're complaining that there's too many players?...
The irony of this post is amusing.
you are not even a dev so why the hell are you saying we are in a state of flux
"We" as in the Rust player base. Which I am definitely part of. You, sir, just went full retard. Never go full retard...
I find it a lot better! The PVP element is back :)! Seeing someone everywhere you turn
why is it not possible to play with an own group of people? dedicated servers are there and this scheme is working for every other game out there. why is that?
Guys, it's an alpha.
You all cry fist about the empty servers and now there are many players and now you cry again.
Guys, please.. my god.
Don't be obtuse, it's not the same people making the two different complaints.
Also, the game is dying down really bad like now there's only around 150 players on all servers together. Before there used to be like 100 on 1 server. A lot of my friends are saying they quit until...
Used to be, someone wanted there to be more players...
The fuck are you talking about this game revolves around people
And nobody has stated what I think is the obvious... There aren't enough lootable areas when you have a full server. The guy was just saying how you can't do anything without some fresh spawn hitting you with a roc., I know you fanboys like that game but sheesh, a little constructive criticism is a good thing for growth. Increase the area where nodes spawn and there are buildings to loot, problem improved.
damn just find a lower populated server and be happy
