Damn I like that trailer.
yes [editline]25th November 2013[/editline] no
well, fuck. was hoping to be able to come back
yes [editline]25th November 2013[/editline] no
betray your first users, that's good PR. Though, if anyone actually cared about the PR surrounding Garry's creations, no one would buy anything from him.
Anyone else really disoriented at the fact that it is 60fps? I've been browsing YouTube too much.
Yea i was contemplating buying this game all month and when i finally went to buy it today, the alpha stage was unavailable, so angry i missed it by one day, now i want it more than ever! Hurry up and get it on steam!!!
Video does not play for me. nvm it does now.

Fun times.
-snip- bad reading
this is what everyone is so excited about?
It's an iMac. The game isn't running full res though, it's running 1280x720. Full res is 2560x1440.
I play the game with about 10 - 35 at the most fps on lowest graphics and lowest resolution. Is this something to do with the game being in a early stage and not being optimized or is my laptop simply not good enough? What would you recommend? Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 2.27GHz Installed Memory 4GB (3.86 Useable) Windows 7 - 64 bit Operating System ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 GPU Thanks!
Love how its all gameplay, short and sweet. Nicely done!
I would love to see a live-action trailer. Men with naked dicks smashing each others head in with a rock. The hitting piles of wood and begin to evolve... Garry make this happen!
Love the trailer. It doesn't make you feel all moody and stuff ( As you already stated ) A simple yet awesome idea. <3 it Edit: The music almost makes the game look comical :D
That's because it is comical, you got dudes with their willies hanging out, people chasing after deer, and kids crying about hacks. if that isn't comical I dont know what is.
New wolf texture and sound
Just want to point out, in the "Chase wildlife Scene" or in other words 0:06, you're running after the deer..but it says you're injured. Not a big problem, I just spotted it.
nice but it would have been cooler if you changed the music to make the game more badass and kindda scarier,, like show some people raiding, make it more cinematic, show a small light at midnight then sneak up behind the guy and kill him you know..

Rust was a lot of fun until my account got wiped lol
You should have added a scene were you just get absolutely destroyed and the enemies loot your body clean. Should attract a lot of people!
Got tired of reading comments, but heres two issues I noticed: -Not a single dick in the video. -Not a single death in the video.
i absolutely love this game, but i think its an awful trailer, its far too short, too rushed, and horrible tunnel vision feeling.
Nice Garry, I like it. Shows the strengths and uniqueness in a quick way. I think you'll be surprised at the response once it goes live on Steam. The market is starved for survival right now, combine that with how solid this game is and the price point I think you'll hit and you've got a winning combination. I look forward to seeing this game grow.

Wow i like it alot, but where are the zombies ? Arnt they suppose to be a big part of the game ? i don't see them in the trailer. Also where are the man made buildings ? Those are big part of the game aswell.. Good job though !

Yeah looks fine for all people they can play the game. But there are still many guys with heavy bugs so use ur time to fix this please :/
Definitely looks better than since I last played it. May have to give it another go some day.
Maybe you could turn of the gui, and there needs to be ambiance at the end.
Neat trailer Garry! Look forward to a finished product, even though what we have now is f**king amazing...
I appreciate what you're saying, it's a conversation we had internally. But you're not meant to sell to people who have already bought. The point is to reach a larger audience than just people that are interested in zombie survival games - to bring them over to our side.
i'm not sure if the video needed to be tongue in cheek to be able to appeal to an audience beyond zsurvival games though like powerpuffters said, rust is hardcore - and imo this is one of its best features. once you first invest in playing rust solo or with few friends you feel a sickly fear most of the time you're roaming the map - its not happy go lucky - its really fucking scary i think you should of portrayed a mood, not sure how exactly but not this. you said doing it this way helps it stand out and make it more accessible, which makes sense, but the game already (imo) stands out from other zsurvivals basically because of the building/crafting mechanics. and as for accessibility, i would imagine most people who purchase the game based on what they saw in that trailer would not expect the kos deathmatch that rust is.
