They were just placeholders and are about to be removed from the game, but they haven't said for sure what will be replacing them yet.

In any case, garry has said he wants to do things differently, likely this is one of those times, he is taking steps you wouldn't normally see developers take, you just kinda gotta run with it. Personally I don't really like it either, but I also already have the game, so I am not the target audience.

Well it's a laptop with 2.27GHz. There's not much you can change about that but if you upgrade your RAM to 8GB then it'll help but if you want to play rust with high res then it'd be better to get a good computer. I have a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 Macbook Pro, with 8GB of RAM and it runs [B]okay[/B] on the highest resolution. So I still don't have enough :P

That makes a difference as well.

I really thought there were some zombie scenes coming after the nightfall scene, video kinda seemed like a "daylight this, nighttime this, be careful" thing.

Its really not, Zombies it not a main part of the game at all. And will probably be removed. Just playing devils advocate for those uneducated, and what im sure alot of players are thinking. PS: I purchased the game for $6(Huge bargain), and enjoy every second i play it and im sure regardless of what it evolves into, ill still play and love it ^.^ *Throws money at Garry* Take more, continue to make more good games.
