Where do you get the server files at to host a Rust server as I would like to host my own server.

Hoping mine will be functional this afternoon as my outfit arranged a rust gaming night before i ordered, would be sweet to have it on our server if possible.

Hello, maybe my questio, has been already answer, in that case, you can say im a noob ;) But, in the frensh official serveur, there is a lot of crash, and a lot of rollback.. I suppose this is due to the number of players inside, maybe some DDOS, the crash itself is not a real issue for me, we are 5 admins and 5 moderator ready to check our future server, restart serv if needed, and ban insulting ppl and cheaters. But, im worry about rollback, i assume this is because official servers save buildings every 12 hours right ? (or something like that) In my future config file for my future EU server, can i change the save time for inventory/position, and save time for buildings ? Because i want to make it save every hour for buildings, and every 10 min for inventory/pos.. It is possible ? Another question, is there some different cloth, that a usual player can't wear in game that we can give us to admins ? With that, we will avoid to boring players who try to shoot us while we just look arround for our admin jobs (check cheaters). Or maybe a vanish command, for admins to get invisible to watch other players and do our job ? I love the job of admin of a server, i dont boring players, also i dont cheat for them, but i need some tools to protects those good players from cheaters.. Like a vanish command ! With that, a player with a aimbot, will try to shoot me while im invisible ;) Got it, ban hammer and players are happy to get protected from 5 year old cheaters :p Of course, there will always be some intelligent cheaters who will never get caught, but these guys need to die sometimes to be not too suscpicious, so they are not the major issue for now. So, to resume, i need to control the save time delay, a invisible command, and if you can, i give you some command that could be very fun or very usefull : - Fly mode - Teleport all to me (to run a event) - Spawn an entity like zombie, dark zombie, bear, wolf, deer, pig (chicken and bunny are not very interesting to spawn for a hunting event) - If you guys have time, a "copy" command could be usefull, and a zone maker command, to make a cuboid zone with parameters, like a cuboid non-pvp zone, to make a little safe zone, cuboid no building zone, and why not, copy all buildings in that zone to past it elsewhere (the copy thing is not a priority, making safe zone where nobody can build or can't, is much more interesting feature) - A /rules command, to print in the chat, a registed message where i can write all the rules (no cheaters, no insults.. blabla) - A "/players" command to see how many players there is in game, i dont want a command to see theyr names, because ppl will do that in loop to see when a prey logg off to raid her house x) - A "welcome" message, for when a noob come, there is a message who appear. "welcome in my server, write /rules to see the rules of this server, blabla". But appear only on the first connexion. and - a "welcome again" message for when a player connect, to say to him the MOTD (message of the day). With a command /motd to see it again ;) Well, i have finished my message, finaly lol, i hope this one will get you guys some cool idea to improve all your services :) In hope that i will get my server EU soon, i can't wait to see my little frensh community playing arround and enjoy it ;)

Whether we have to wait for the next update or whether they're available from the RCon right now I'm unsure but if they're not available yet they soon will be. Edit: Just read it's added in the latest dev build so if you're running that via Steam you should be able to use the kick and ban commands no? Not 100% sure how this works so correct me if I'm mistaken.

Indeed. Ban and Kick commands are now added. The server owners have to update their servers using the dev steam updater.

Also, can you add a detection system that when a player pass through an entity (walls, door), and are not legit, (not my door) a message show up to admins ?

At least that's what I am up to.

Ideal-Hosting : whats the stock on eu servers now? tried ordering one a few days ago and god pretty much told off...

How close are you to clearing your backlog atm? We ordered a server y'day and were told 2-4 days so we're not fussed about waiting as we were made aware of the wait time but just curious how close you are to meeting demand :)

We were expecting Monday tbh :D We selected the earliest available server from the option as we're an International community so aren't too fussed where our server's located :)

The Sleeper config. feature is bugged ? Ive set sleeper.on false on first, waited 1 hour with a guy disconnected and lying on the ground... Nothing... Then ive tryed sleeper.on true, reboot, asking a friend to disconnect, he fall on the ground like a drunk guy, waited arround for 1 min, and nothing too... Tryed again sleeper.on false, the guy disconnect, the body is on the ground, waited arround for 5 min now, and nothing... Well, it is a bug, or my config is not good ? (i have only modified the "sleeper.on false" part, to "true" to "false", and the server's name.. By the way, the name contain a ' and i tryed to add an accent (FR server) "é", the "é" is bugged, and show a strange carracter, the ' appear, but maybe its that who bug my sleeper option ? Ok, if you guys can help me out tomorrow, i will go by the chat live when its online if there is no respond in this forum. Thx, and good night.
