They may have been doing some maintenance last night. Haven't gotten any response so far...Would've been nice to know!

[U][B]UPDATES[/B][/U] Effinboy will now be assisting me as a co-administrator. We will be taking applications for moderators at a later date. We will be using the current provider until the billing cycle is nearing a close. At that point, we will switch providers. We are preparing a website that will be live by tomorrow. Players will be allowed to donate in a couple of weeks from now. The donor packages will range from in-game items to real life loot (rubber bracelets, t-shirts, hats, etc.) When the new game patches are released, we will not be updating the server until the new server mod is released to accompany it. So I'd encourage all of you to turn your Rust game OFF of auto-update. Otherwise, you won't be able to join the server. More news coming soon!

Sounds like my kind of server. I live in Morrison :) I'll be logging on tonight.

It was a decent server a few weeks ago but from it's publicity, it brought in a whole bunch of assholes who kill nakeds and then trash talk you in game. I'm not just talking about PVP. PVP is important in this game and I don't mind dying but these guys take it to the extreme. If you are new to the server, you are just wasting your time. This server is no longer fun. ps: The server speed runs good and lag is usually never a problem. The admin Blu is fair and there isn't admin abuse.

He was tping around taking doors off of peoples houses and then told us "deal with it quietly or find somewhere else to play". I wasn't involved in that directly but voiced that isn't fair. He banned me. your server sucks. Get the 15yr old off the admin panel. I wont be back to reply. Forget Mile High Rust

Also, the guy that criticized the server in the thread you quoted was VAC banned. I don't listen to people that have been VAC banned.

Hi Blucifer. Im fairly new to Rust, and I am looking for a friendly good server, Ive read this thread and thinking this might be a good start out server. But I got a few questions, how is the people on the server? Generally ofcourse. And is VAC banned people accepted to the server? I am not VAC banned, but I want to know, don't want any cheaters to ruin my game experience.

Who all decided to spam chat and whine instead of play on. This along with slurs that aren't allowed on Mile High Rust, earned them a ban. In fact, I only banned any of them after taking a community vote in chat on whether they should be banned or not. The vote was unanimous. This is in no way an attempt to defend myself, just wanted some transparency. :)

We run Cheatpunch actively on the server and there are people that try to join every day that get banned from Rust because of this tool. Each ban shows up in my console log. If someone has a VAC ban under a year, generally, I do not allow them to play on my server. If someone is suspiciously good at the game and a VAC ban is on their account regardless of age, I watch them very closely. Unfortunately, until we get a spectate mode, there is very little I can do apart from assuming someone is cheating unless it is blatant and ridiculously obvious. The server is fun to play on, evidenced by the population, but it is a murderfest. So it could be difficult for you to start out if you are one of the people that like to head straight for Radtown unarmed... If you want to play here, all I ask is that you play smart and don't act like an idiot.

This is a server ill probably save, to when I get alittle bit more experience, ill totally try it out. Its just sad that alot of hacks pass trough Cheatpunch with ease. But if there is admins that are active, care about their players and the community, I guess they have to do a good job.
