After reading the thread thoroughly, it seems to be an issue with an ASUS motherboard (MA87TD), which I happen to have and also experience this while approaching areas with buildings. It appears some people solved it by turning off the overclock feature. TurboEVO it is for me, I believe, as installed by the driver CD for the motherboard.
hi, just letting you know i also have this problem, yet i have an Abit IP35-E motherboard. Also, it seems to go away for a bit when i die
GUYS. please tweet at @RustUpdates to help us out. Link them this thread URL. idk about you guys, but I love this game and I am pretty upset that we all have this issue and that it isn't fixed yet. Lets make something happen here.
My guess would be that there is a problem with the older mobos. I have the first gen gigabyte mobo that could support the ddr3. If this isnt fixed by december, I'll order a new mobo and see what happens.
2016 still having issue devs fix it
I explained a little about the cause in this thread...its not a fix but its an answer
