I realize its an alpha, but did the devs spend at least five seconds playtesting this new patch?
it's not drama, it's just stupid. why the zombies can't be a placeholder? must be a fucking red bear with backpack?????
Every day they put this off is more people buying the game and jumping to the assumption that this is gonna be a zombie game. It's something that had to be done asap. the bears and wolves are a good enough replacement in that they fill the role the zombies did of giving supplies, so gameplay can proceed as usual. Who cares if the concept of animals carrying backpacks is silly lol. It's not gonna be that way in the end result.

Do you not understand what your role is in this relationship? The game is in Early Access/alpha. You're not a player, you're an alpha tester.

Exactly what can I alpha test about "OMG there are a hundred red wolves in next valley?" Or, what constructive feedback can I give when a new AI is released where the wolves run away after I shoot them. I mean, if I'm a developer creating a new AI, don't I kinda at least shoot one in a preproduction environment to see if it behaves as expected before releasing it to the public?
Literally bought this game 5 days ago BECAUSE it was a zombie survival game. That change makes no sense.
I'm glad I bought it on the premise of fighting naked people using a rock. It instantly brought back memories of Mortal Online when it was in beta. I hope that stays in.
Can anyone tell me if the lockpicks are reusable ?,If it isn't, kevlar guys are going to stop killing naked because it's not worth it
Can anyone tell me if the lockpicks are reusable ?,If it isn't, kevlar guys are going to stop killing naked because it's not worth it
Lol, no they're not, I shoot nakeds because of the same reason i shoot anyone else. Kill them before they kill me. One guy thanked me because i was hunting zoms with a bow and he tried to give me a gun and ammo and i had one already, and he thanked me for not killing him like most other nakeds that are actually vets with guns do.
I like the new player animations a lot! The new sleeping animation is really cool :) http://imgur.com/s5bqIpX
im not a kid, i'm 33 years old. sorry that i didn't read all futures plans dev had at the time i bought. i bought a "zombie survival game" that is now a just silly survival game. at least there is some logic that a zombie is carrying a backpack because humans do. i never heard about a wolf or a bear using backpacks. maybe on circus, so yeah let's add clowns and beard women.
I live to shottie clowns and bearded women in the face. Put them in Garry!
North Valley became Hi-tech! Used to avoid North Valley as it didnt have Zombies or Rad loot, now if is filled with mutant beasts dropping rare loot! If this patch did anything is expand the playable area. I haven't had a chance to travel to Hacker Valley - Are mutant animals there as well? This would totally change my base location strategy.
RIP white wolf, you were my favourite.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/RsgAOOT.png[/t] [editline]7th February 2014[/editline] Don't get an early access game if you aren't willing to accept change.
