Anyone who says the don't want mounts hasn't run a few marathons across a 5k map. Running crude to the hq in the snow, good ole days. Slow car like slightly faster than running armored driver open air passengers a row of inventory.not so expensive that solo players can't get to it. I like it, fp usually implements everything in a balanced way so I have faith.
Cars wouldn't make sense in rust, especially since they've made the default map size smaller.
Rideable horses and/or trains with an already laid track that you can hijack; yes.
Cars: hell no. Unless they decide to go with larger maps then cars are a straight out game ruiner, and will just be another advantage clans have over smaller groups and solo players.
Garry and his development team have already stated that there will be cars. So you do not get to say as to whether or not cars would make sense in Rust.
As for smaller server sizes, cars will definitely be at a disadvantage, as even on larger maps, I am still having issues with running into landmines in the most random ass places. But not every server is small, which is a very important detail.
Dont give to Rust CARS Is shit
