I can see where he's coming from. Some people hate being raided, house being blown up, and getting screwed over, over and over again. It does get a bit boring after a while, which loses people and popularity. When the game is complete, they should keep it in thought.
this isn't minecraft
This may be far fetched, but allowing support for server modifications would increase the final game's appeal to many people. I'm talking about mods present on games such as Minecraft where it is possible to create factions (of players) where they can protect their buildings from other players until their power is lost (from members of the faction being killed too much) and another faction can claim their bases. I'm not saying this should replace the game's current setup or anything but it does appear to be far too easy for a house to be raided, so something needs to be done about this.
Yes, the idea of mods for private servers IS a good idea, but only for building purposes. Everything else (I.E Food, clothes, Weapons Ect Ect) Should only be obtainable through the original means, killing wildlife, finding, looting and researching stuff. Also, mods to health (God mode and the likes) should be BANNED as this directly opposes the idea of the game, which is to fight for survival. Basically, mods to help you build structures are ok, just not mods that basically make the game pointless. if you want a game where you can build structures and the likes with no danger of dieing and losing all your stuff, I'm sure there is a Facebook game for that... Maybe Farmville?
waow nice profile pikture
Raiding is the funnest part of the game. I enjoy being raided and raiding people, both are EXTREMELY fun. If you cry when you get raided you're probably too immature to play a game with naked people running about.
