Yes and if you'll go back and read my post, I said ADD fishing, not plan it. I check Trello and @RustUpdates hourly, thank you very much.
It will be added. Please drop the immature attitude, thanks.
Check Trello: Rust Programmers > Art Implementations. They've been testing it in-game.

However, as it's early in development, you won't likely see it for awhile.

A placeholder as simple as standing near a source of water and collecting fish meat would go a LONG way to help people survive while they bug test for various problems. That way we don't have to hunt other players, fun as it may be, just to stay alive. That was my original point that I think you failed to grasp.
Also, I'm sorry your first reaction is to be offended. Most people have a sense of humor. Although, in reality, I'm not sorry, and I don't care.
P.S. On a side not, do you know how long that art has been posted on their trello? It's been there almost as long as experimental branch has existed.
Also, also, for everyone else: https://trello.com/c/V9aYzsfD
I didn't ask for you to apologize nor was I offended. I asked for you to get your point across like a civilized individual. Your behavior or lack thereof doesn't add anything constructive to the argument.
The point currently isn't to provide the user with the advantage - allowing people to survive while they test for various problems for example. It is primarily the developer's advantage to test what they see fit. Functionality is key during this time, how happy you are to play this alpha is not. When the game is complete, both the player and developer will be satisfied.

You're still ignoring my points, so this conversation is over.
I justified your point in my post. If you fail to see it, that's not my problem.
... so this conversation is over.
... did I mention that we need animals? ;-)

Just chiming in to say this is still an issue after todays server updates.
On initial load of the server everything looks good (animals spawn around, CPU load is low). However, as more people join and kill animals, server CPU is spiking and people are complaining of the big herd in the center of the map and no animals elsewhere.
Are others still experiencing this?
yes, the bug is still happening
@rustafied: A bunch of us on the Dev server still experienced that.
Quick fix: Spawn everyone with 60x cloth.
... then we can at least create a sleeping bag and furnace, and continue testing the game while the animal respawning bug is dealt with.
yep new build and still happening, but garry is on it.
