I'm not sure anyone has been personally attacking the dev, besides that one comment about not knowing what he's doing, and that's done and over with for the most part. I, personally, was just making a simple observation and I have been trying desperately myself to get my the server up and running. I think everyone has been working rather hard to make EVERYTHING work. Nobody is saying that the dev is a terrible modder, no one is saying he shouldn't take the week off and relax. Unless, of course, you are commenting on a deleted comment, then I might understand. But the last line of what you said was kinda pushing it. It's not as big of a deal as you are making it out to be, it really, truly isn't. If I am misunderstanding your post, let me know, but it comes off rather aggressive. I'd rather hear what mistad has to say on all the matters.
All I can say to everyone is, get BMRF servers. So much better and the FTP access allows for EASY installation and fixes.

This is the choice we all had to make. Running the latest steam update seems to fix this but will completely stop you from using Essentials.
I decided on stability and to just wait for Essentials to be updated. You may decide that a reset every 15 min is worth keeping your mods. At least until your host forces and update or something ;)[/QUOTE]

Can anyone here give me help regarding Essentials commands not working, I've been making custom ranks/kits but for some reason since i have started all ingame commands have broken, i have since checked the commands folder and there appears to be "no" errors. I have inherit commands on but for some reason they just don't work.

Its probably related to one of the recent updates. So maybe Essentials is not running anymore. If you reinstall you probably wont be able to connect.
If you don't see the join message when you connect it probably is not currently running.

Ok i'll try to reinstall it, the thing is prefix's are working correctly, and the once every 30minute message is showing. but as you say the join is not showing so maybe it worth re-installing :P

If you go to the R++ and Oxide sites, people are getting extremely nasty towards the developers taking so long. I feel bad for them, and am surprised they still even deal with the extremely toxic society we call RUST. People in this game are extremely ignorant and unthankful. This happens in all game communities, but seems worse in this one.

Ah I see. Yes, it seems a lot more than other games. I find a lot of immature people play rust (The griefing is what draws people in, I think) and so you just get a toxic community. I find that for most minecraft modders and devs, there is a shit ton of pressure as well. Hopefully people will change, but it just won't happen any time soon. Anyway, the most we can do is keep calm and talk logically I guess.

Well I completely reinstalled essentials because there was some funky shit going on over the past few hours. And now essentials completely stopped working. Not sure why, how, or what caused it. But when I upload the .dlls the server connects but I get Exception "trying to read past the buffer size - likely caused by mismatching write/reads different size or order" error when trying to join.
Looks like my servers is going bone stock for now.
Will the next update take to long? :|

I didn't upload any update of any sort guys. I did however managed to fix Essentials for the latest Rust update. I just need a tester to fix the factions issue.

I need to take a break from RustEssentials for a few. I don't know how long, but it won't be permanent. I've dedicated too much time, although I love working on this for you guys. I'm going through sleep deprivation and my grades dipped earlier, so it's becoming a concern. Now, I'm not saying I won't update it if things break, but I won't be adding anything new for a bit. Also, I have another project that has a higher priority than this at the moment.
I need to take a break, vacation if you will, from this for a while. I will be back though. Feel free to message here, I will still respond.
