Anyone know a way to get this running with HFB servers? Or do we have to wait until they add it to their updated mods section? :/
Thanks Mistad...

Have to wait.
Have to wait.
Figured... :(
yea if it is like normal, we could have it by monday...
sooo if the item durability settings are at 1 and .25, 0 turns it off, is it safe to say that anywhere in between slows it down?
HFB suckys SO HARD in update mods that give me dark wishes!
i have two hosts at the moment, FSP already update the essentials like 3 hours ago.
and HFB IS SLEEPINGGGGGGGGGGG WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
sorry for the bad names, that makes me angry
Luiz
i agree, 4 hours later and no essentials update on HFB - time for me to go to bed.
FPSPlayers still makes leather loader required >.>
Guess you could say you have something working by tonight. Please note that Essentials is a standalone mod now, thanks to indirect guidance by R++. This means you no longer need LeatherLoader. I think I fixed censorship, someone test for me. I have no idea, so I didn't add it to the changelog. Make sure you update your config.ini and commands.ini. allCommands.txt is always optional.
Here you go guys, back on break for me.
[Edit]
Oh yea and by the way, I heard you guys are having a hard time with duration/condition of items, this should help you guys out (RCON commands):
Upon damage/use of an item or weapon, the damage is multiplied by this multiplier than subtracted from the condition to get the next condition:
conditionloss.damagemultiplier 1
This one I haven't tested, but I found - probably has to do with armor items. Same thing as above:
conditionloss.armorhealthmult 0.25
The /time command doesnt seem to work. my time is set to 12 in the config, but when i log in and verify it is set to 0 and doesnt progress. Time is not frozen on my server, but seems like it is always night! ;)
It looks like HFB's Mod Manager page says Essentials is on 1.6.3, but all the files are still from 1.6.2. :tinfoil:
You said you removed timescale and its still in my config which is why im sayin this ^
(I've reinstalled like 6 times.)
I'll update the mod when need be. I'm at school and I can do it when I get home. Other than this, everything else waits.
nice ! thank you

This is correct.

Are you sure? There was a lot of rewriting needed via Leatherloader that needed to be done in order to work correctly. MistaD basically had to rewrite 1/2 the mod in order to get it to run with the new update. I've been running standalone Essentials for roughly 12 hours, no hiccups.

I had no issues with the time commands on my server. What exactly are you changing in setting and expecting for a result? I will test it today and see if I get the same results

Nothing, i flush it all and started the mod without any modifications, and im stuck on night. The server settings are ok too.
Yea all the files appear to be 1.6.2 --- i still have timescale - was my first indicator.
Yea, somethings not right at all there. :-(
# Set the time of day upon server start
startTime=12
# Set the day length in minutes upon server start (Default 45 minutes)
dayLength=45
# Set the night length in minutes upon server start (Default 15 minutes)
nightLength=15
# Freeze time upon server start
freezeTime=false
(What should be in the cfg.)
I've rebooted twice, and both times, it started at noon for me, and cycled as normal. (airdrops still broken though)
But i cannot simply copy paste that though, correct?
[editline]26th February 2014[/editline]
I put a ticket in with HFB as well
[editline]26th February 2014[/editline]
My main reason to use this mod or any mod is the ability to restrict/control the airdrops and loot tables

i'Ve found a fix
Go set manually /daylength 45 and /nightlength 15
And the cycle unfreeze and starts.

I am on hfb too, works fine
Airdrops broke still like mack said? And how do you have it working? You just copy paste? And what about all the other changes?
Nitrous Networks no longer support Essentials ? Only Oxide is in the Mod section.
Well my server in Aus uses Essentials so many more options and configs i love it
Confirmed when I installed Essentials last night, that it required leather to run on FPS servers. That being said - it runs like a dream. No issues at all!
Well just tried a fresh install - still installing 1.6.2 not 1.6.3 c'mon HFB....
PLEASE HELP - I Am renting a server from StreamLine Servers and i am having troubles with me time in-game, it wont go into a day/night cycle and whenever i type /time day or /time night it doesn't change.
also when i type /time it is stuck on 0 and wont move, i have tried everything someone please help.
Well, passing 11 hours and HFB still doesn't have this properly configured for use... There goes my server population back to 4-5 people....
Hi, I have a problem with the new update i´ve got tons off errors with the Text:
"SetDestination" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.
"Stop" can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a NavMesh.
What could this problem be. I think i got this problem bevor but i used oxide back then.
Also the chatlog don´t work right. It records like 1 Minute after the Server start but then it don´t work anymore.
my god, HFBSERVERS support and modding is terrible, GOD WHYYYY GOD,
they are so much a crap, there is not a word to say what im feeling, they take 8 hours to release a mod update and make a shit more huge that the waiting
im speechless
The /time command doesnt seem to work. my time is set to 12 in the config, but when i log in and verify it is set to 0 and doesnt progress. Time is not frozen on my server, but seems like it is always night! ;)
Hi, if this is on HFB: they include the new updated 1.6.3 DLL's, but by default also their 'own' configuration files....
There is an error in the logfile when the configuration is loaded initially - indicating missing variables, and that leads to the issues with the time (as the config file cannot be loaded properly). By deleting the HFB-config file (config.ini) from the Rustessentials/ folder, and restarting the server, the *correct* config file is generated. Then, everything should work (freezetime is apparently True when the config file cannot be loaded, the author may want to reconsider). It worked on my system (- [EU/EN/DE] Orfals rust server) at least (HFB server based).
