Suggestion:

Could the teleport requests be in a form of a Popup rather then a text message in chat?

Also /tpaccept should be all that's needed to accept the teleport, sometimes someones name is quite difficult to type in within 10 seconds

So, I'm hosting with BMRF because they allow FULL FTP AND FILE ACCESS. And I did everything that was told I should do and it seems that it is still not working. Does essentials not work with the most recent update that was launched on 1/9/2014?

EDIT: Rustessentials.zip is in the rust_server_data or whatever it is, and it does not create a folder in the mods folder with the config and such.

zip files should not be placed in any folders at all, please read the instructions in the first post.

I am having a lil trouble. I cannot log in as admin on my server provided by HFBServers. I might be doing something wrong, but its saying i dont have permission to execute that command /airdrop. Just trying to make sure things are working any help is greatly appreciated. Also when I try rcon.login "password" to log in as admin it disconnects me from server.

It's by UID, not by Steam ID.

In the ranks.ini, under the [Owner.O], paste your UID, not your Steam ID;

to know your UID, go on [url]http://steamidfinder.com/[/url]

On this site, just paste your SteamID and you've got them numbers : UID.

First, thank you for this mod, it's really what I needed for my server.

I was editing the motd file, and i noticed a problem, special characters like Tirer à é è ç aren't saved correctly, when you click on save and open again the file you see this : �

I noticed that whenever a cycling message contains a special characters it doesn't appear.

Is there any solution for this?

I went to the linked site and got a "STEAM_#.#.######" as a result. Where do i use that info, and just the #'s part or the whole STEAM_###### ? Sorry if i am making this harder to help me. I will take any steps provided! i greatly appreciate all the help! I honestly do.

Paste your Steam Profile URL and get the SteamID64 and paste that in the ranks.ini file under the appropriate rank.

I'm on HFBServers too, install the RustEssentials plugin in Mod Manager, then configure the files in Configuration Files.

I found the Configuration Files and in there found the ranks.ini file, when i open it in the text editor it is empty. What and what way do i edit info in that file, i know text editor but how is it supposed to look? thanks

Open a ticket for this and we will get it sorted, a small bug that has been corrected on all new installs but might take manual intervention to fix yours.
