If you have no baby you will have a fresh restart with a random respawn and lost of your crafting knowledge. Anyway making the baby is probably the toughest thing to implement here, i dont want a magic potion to create a baby and sex will ban this game from steam as mr.knifey pointed out (btw what would a non-sexualised female character look like? no tits? no vagina??). Well managed, this feature would fix the suicide bases issue (as long as beds work they way they work, there will be suicide bases). This is not a suggestion, just a thought. I dont want babies in rust, an island full of psychos is not a place for a baby. They will cry if you dont feed them, revealing your position, his position and probably the position of your bases and loot.

Considering that the majority of rust players are men, and unless you are into guys, do you really want to have virtual sex with another man's avatar even if its female? Pregnancy would be a major disadvantage, you'd move slower, present a larger target to shoot at and wouldnt be able to move long distances without having to rest often. This is just a musing of mine, though: Considering all the crap they have to go through just to get away with what they do and fight off the überfeminists at the same time, another reason they don't deviate from their current formula is because they are veterans at that particular fight.
