I'll try whatever the devs want me to to help debug & troubleshoot. I'm on a macbook pro right now, haven't installed on PC yet, in the US Midwest/East Coast. Restarted Steam, Deleted Local Game Files & Reinstalled, verified game cache, restarted in windowed mode, basically tried everything I can think of without getting into console or anything like that. Edit, I also want to say THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH for making this available on a mac. I have a gaming PC but I can't always coop myself up in my manchild cave and play on PC, having responsibilities and all that... so it's nice to take this game with me on my MBP.

Valve has confirmed this being a problem with steam and are working to fix it, stay tuned

Confirming I am getting Auth limbo errors on both Dev and live servers, can see server lists. Will not let me join any servers, I tried restarting steam to no avail.

I couldn't connect- so I restarted my computer and steam updated. I figured it wouldn't connect because I was missing the update. So I let it update and it just continues to not work, so it's definitely the steam update causing it.

I think you should turn the servers off until the problem is fixed... a lot of people are getting an unfair advantage by raiding bases constantly.

B: You didn't buy a game, you bought an in-progress project with a playable element to it. You aren't a player, you're a tester, you test. Right now, all you're testing is the patience of the people on this forum. You aren't getting a refund, its not happening. You were made aware of the state of the game when you bought it, you chose to take that risk, live with it.

MONEY[/QUOTE] Belaniell, thank you for supporting the game, just like we all have also done. Rust is an amazingly fun game and I am excited to see it finished. However, the game isn't finished yet. It's still in alpha. When software is being developed, it goes through 3 major stages. The first stage is called Alpha where there are expected to be many bugs and some entire portions of game play not functional. The second is Beta, where most or all game play is functional, even if there are bugs in how they work. That's okay. When the game is polished and all functionality is enabled and most (read: not all) bugs are fixed, then it's ready for Gold stage which is otherwise known as retail release or version 1.0. We aren't there yet. We're still in Alpha. :) Don't give up hope! The Rust team are no doubt working very hard to finish the game. You have paid for the game and have been given early access to the Alpha stage because of your payment. Would you rather have paid money and not been able to play until the game is released as retail or gold or 1.0 many months from now? I'd rather play the Alpha and still have fun.

i'm not complaining... but I swear I feel withdrawal... I was given this drug called RUST and now I'm having seizures...
