I dig what you're saying and I feel a little sorry for him too, but I have been totally honest with him. The people joking around have not been anywhere near as harsh as usual, due to the fact he's obviously young. Don't these forums have an 18+ age limit?
Truz it's a lesson you need to learn. Make sure you do learn from it and don't use 'cheat engine' or 'brothers' or 'map overlays' or whatever exactly it was again. I believe as well as altered .dll's and .exe's just having cheats registered on the VAC database resident in memory can trigger the ban, even if it was not hooked into rust at the time, VAC can and will catch it.

You all fuckers should see that my son did not cheat, I woke up to get some water to see my son is sitting here in frustration because he got banned for no reason. Non-sense! I can tell you with my hand on my heart that my son is only 11 years old and he would not even know what "cheats" and "hacks" were. And his account have been on private because we don't want people to be looking and sneaking around. You get the point. Sir, you should be aware that your son has been told that his ban is permanent and [B]nobody on this forum[/B] can unban him because Valve Anti-Cheat isn't even handled by anyone here.
You may contact Steam Support, the only team at Valve other than the VAC team itself that can reverse VAC bans, by opening a ticket at this site. [url]https://support.steampowered.com/[/url]
Please be aware that Valve will not disclose the time or reason for any bans, even if they are determined to be erroneous and reversed.

If this is the OP or his "dad", know that Valve will NOT disclose the exact cause of the ban. Its part of their policy so on the off chance it is a legitimate ban for a hack it can't be made to evade VAC easier. I only know this as I'm the cat in this guy's avatar.
