This is what it sounds like: "that guy drove against the wall with his car and died" "so he couldn't drive cars" "well you once couldn't drive a car either, get over it" but I didn't drive cars back when I couldn't... when I was young and had a squaky voice I didn't use my microphone in 16+ games to annoy the shit out of everybody (*cough*xboxlive*cough*). all this nice offtopic. let's discuss how 14 year olds shouldn't use their mics in online games. [editline]30th September 2014[/editline] It's gonna be a great day when Rust actually gets a PEGI, then we can say "you're too young for this game, fuck off". "but Gachl the Game is 'fun' and not violent and gore at all, children should play this" you probably also think children should smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol because they have pink cats printed on them. derailing 80% done.
That's comparing apples with pears and you're smart enough to realize that yourself. There's a reason why you need a damn license to be allowed to drive a car. Someone having a voice that annoys you is a risk you're taking when you're playing a game with in-game voice chat without a PEGI. Get over it and grow up, you're acting like a squeaker.
Get over it and grow up, you're acting like a squeaker.
My brain is melting from your reply. Did I ever mention that I was personally annoyed? How can I get over something that I'm not actually under? And how is that acting like a squeaker? So much nonsense. There's a ton of people in this thread who should "get over" this but sorry I'm not one of them, you flamed at the wrong one.
Remember that thread where someone came here and admitted they were 12, then linked a video of admin abuse he was really upset about? Then the next day his mother posted a thread here demanding something be done about it? Yeah, it was hilarious. That's a good enough reason to allow youngsters to enjoy Rust. Before you tar and feather me, I am posting (slightly) tongue in cheek. I've seen reactions like that kid had from grown men in Rust, and they are just as hilarious. And at the same time, while there are grown men who whine and cry like bitches, there are some younger folk who can play fine. Revolution25 seems OK, if you look past the squeeky voice. Never thought I would be defending a squeeker here, but there are plenty of grown ups in this thread acting far dumber.

Yes I'm talking about the people going "mweh i dont want to play with shitty squeaky lil kids". We were all young, we all had squeaky voices. Get over it and grow the fuck up, you're just proving that not having a squeaky voice doesn't make you mature. Good luck with your ban/getting unbanned and nice shooting btw.
it's not about how annoying their voice is, it's the fact that they're under the age they should be when playing the game and some people just don't like that. Same reason people under a certain age get banned from forums. It's also the same as hanging out with people your age, because why would I want to hang out with people 7+ years younger than me. telling people to "Get over it" and "Grow the fuck up" because they have a different opinion than you makes you look like an immature idiot. Don't try to act better than people because they have a different opinion.
My brain is melting from your reply. Did I ever mention that I was personally annoyed? There are better reasons to ban kids.
because getting a drivers liscense and playing a game is such an extremely different thing that that example is just silly. that's like literally not even close
I still don't see what I should get over. I know what comparison I made. I know what words I used ("this is what it sounds like" and not "this is what you are saying"). No need to tell me what I already know just because someone else doesn't get it. I think you've conducted yourself admirably here Revolution25, but you need to be made aware of something. You've made a couple of statements which indicate you believe you know what is and what isn't appropriate for children. Do you forget that you yourself are also a child? What need for any ratings system if children are able to make appropriate judgments about what is and isn't appropriate for themselves? There aren't any 14-year-olds on the committees deciding what content 14-year-olds should be exposed to for a reason, mate.

R.C. Toys are not appropriate for kids under age of 12 too but my friend had a R.C. plane when he was 7 and he did no harm to him or others + the toy is still working somehow. Bikes with 2 wheels are not appropriate for kids under age of 9 but i had my support wheels removed when i was 3. So what i am saying is not appropriate does not mean must not, more like should not or something.
OK, I take back defending this guy based on this thread. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1428118

Perhaps I didn't explain myself well enough. See these statements: "Then compare rust to manhunt.Manhunt is violent." "I don't really see rust as a violent game" They mean nothing. Your opinions about how 'violent' or appropriate Rust is, mean absolutely nothing. You can hold opinions about it - which you obviously do - but you're a child, so those opinions don't count. They can be entirely dismissed out-of-hand. Conclusions about how appropriate potentially inappropriate content is for you are determined by people other than you. And your opinions about that don't count either.

my plugin, from which he got banned from, detects suspicious moves, as in walkspeedhack (like your state is : walking, but everybody sees you running), he got auto banned for this. The admin of the server contacted me about a possible error, but i'm glad it wasn't my plugin the error, but actually the guy trying to hide his hacks ;) EDIT: and somewhere along this video, i remember him using an auto lock when he was about to die (i'm not on my comp so i can't give the exact moment), but it was just before he got to 1HP.

And your plugin detects suspicious movement which means i was crouch running, so i was ducked and i was still running, maybe that triggered it.
Well i guess theoritically it shouldnt detect you, but i need to conduct tests, cause i guess that would explain. I Will Check that tonight. Thanks for the info.
It dont detect crounch running. I tested it.
It dont detect crounch running. I tested it.
I know it can't but i somehow held my crouch too long or something but kept the momentum.
Why don't you just play counter strike? thats all that server is from what i can tell, but with less guns.
Why don't you just play counter strike? thats all that server is from what i can tell, but with less guns.
I play on servers like these because of multiple reasons: 1) The update with durability killed the game for me, and no dura server are very very rare 2) If i find a no dura server with players, it is either Russian so half of the people are teammed kevlars or a lot of hackers on it 3) I don't play on normal servers since whenever i get a gun like a p250 some asshole flies up to me with a handcannon and murders me 4) I like pvp servers because if there is a hacker, it is no big deal, just go to another area until he gets banned.
