K4R represent yeah! Ban these hackers please! They are ruining the alpha for everybody! This game is no fun to play right now when people are flying around, stealing valuable in-game items from very secure safe rooms by just walking through walls. Seriously don't even want to invest any more time farming and base building if it all can be taken away by a hacker in an instant. How can we test a game and give positive feedback and fix other issues with the game when these kind of exploits are rampant everywhere on every server. It will get worse when these guys start giving their hacks away as well.

This thread is a haven for butthurt players. Rust hasnt even been released yet so dont ask the devs to spend resources and time on policing the fucking map. Let them develop it and if you lose shit because of a hacker/cheater, i cant imagine what you feel on a server wipe. Get over it and expect to lose your gear and everything. You get the released game for free so stop bitching and show some patience. Theyll be dealt with eventually

a player "Mike" using cheat on french server 1 hour ago & he continu now ( fly , teleporte & ESP ) , he kill & rob everybody for give all item to " psisyndicate " ( not the real streamer ) and 1-2 other player but i don't know her names can you ban them please ? sorry for my bad english :zoid:

A guy with no name (probably space) is no clipping into houses and killing people/stealing stuff. This reminds me of dayz. The reason dayz and warz died off pretty quickly was because of the mass influx of hackers. Either we get tools to fight these hackers or we might as well not play. This happened at 20:35-20:40 GMT in United Kingdom server. He killed a player called AQ.Frontal in that time frame inside his base while no-clipping. Hope that helps the logs. Until the hackers are dealt with or the necessary tools/dedicated server files are released, AQ will probably step out of rust. Edit: I know the whole "it's alpha comment" but I'm not threatning anybody or trying to rush them. Garry and his team should know (at least I sincerely hope so) that a game like this cannot survive unless the hacker issue is dealt with swiftly and with the right tools. I hope you actually take this issue seriously and not go the way of dayz which was "there's really nothing we can do".

You spawn collect min items and what do u know he is above you shooting you again. Game had its issues before the hacking that is happening now but was playable. the glitches are preventable if you build correctly. There is jack u can do against someone tping himself into ur base and all over. If they even want the game to continue to succeed the hacks have to be prevented to a extent. I could careless about server wipes. They will be wipe shortly again after what has happen. I dont mind its fun starting over when someone actually takes u over or server wipe. Not to a mass hacking that has been going on.

It's alpha, people are spreading the word about rust and what better time to test anti hack / admin tools than pre-release when feedback is faster. Now if nothing is done about this, ok fine. But then expect the potential customers to constantly hear "I wouldn't buy rust, it's a hacker haven". It's a problem that not only destroys games, but also destroys a game's reputation preventing new customers from buying it. I doubt anyone here is thinking "Oh garry is just going to police the servers and ban hackers!". No, what we are doing is alerting the dev team to this issue so that they make it their top priority and don't do the same mistake sooooo many companies do these days which is: Ignore anti hack and good easy to use admin tools. I also like the "you're getting the game for free at release" part of your post. Pretty funny imo.

This hacking crap is getting out of hand. I had a guy in full cloth no-clip through the base (to the center which is surrounded by like 15 metal doors) and grab all of the sulfur from my box. Roughly 7 stacks worth. I wish I could have gotten his name. He was launching into the air too.

Mike and Express <----- Ran into those clowns on US West about an hour ago. Dropped me and some friends out in the open (very good shots btw, wink wink nudge nudge). Within a minute of killing us they were magically in our house, mind you all the doors were still in tact. My friend was able to lock one of them into a hallway. Within 10 seconds of us declaring a mini-victory and laughing about it that guy was on the 2nd floor of our house killing us again. After that wipe I randomly respawned near our house and saw what I am assuming is those guys back in the field where the encounter started. Sorry for the quality, but you should be able to see the guy clipping all over the valley. Dude was like an Olympic figure skater on crack. I finally, got a house setup on the Australian server. A naked guy named Fitzayyy no-clips through my walls and kills me. I waited 30 seconds, and respawned in my camp, and he I watched him go in and out of my walls and he kills me again. Why play this? I already been through this garbage on WarZ, and I aint going to do it again.

Also they are apparently able to noclip as well. Can't wait till we get a handle on the hackers. Also TIK TOK is raising hell on the server right now, due to noclip hacks.

Since the major outbreak in the last week i noticed a steady decline in players. Given servers issues may have a effect too.

je suis pauvre on US West Sleepers appears to be noclipping and invincible (he walked into our closed house, into our closed room, and ate 3 shotgun blasts to the face and a full magazine of M4 ammo, without wearing a chest piece, and survived, then walked out with everything). Wish we had recorded it, but a lot of people on the server were complaining about him hacking.

Do they actually ban people?
