Any server that gets even relatively popular will have hackers start joining to troll people. You can't really do much about it at this point until either VAC or the developers figure out a way to counter all the hacking.
As of now, the game is unplayable for me. Every server I join with 50+ people in it I encounter hackers.
P.S.: To be honest, they're not hackers, they're script kiddies. These guys aren't creating these things, they're using their mom's credit card to buy them from an established hacker (HeliOs from ArtificialAiming). I was reading on their forums and read that they've already had 8,500 sales for the hack. EIGHTY-FIVE HUNDRED PEOPLE! Think about that... And you don't just "buy" the hack, you "subscribe" to it for an allotted time. If each of those people is paying $20 for the "3 month subscription" then the guy making it has made [I]at least[/I] $170,000 off selling a hack for a single game![/QUOTE]

Lo and behold, my server went down minutes after.

Even if you personally didnt do it. If his server is ever found to have been attacked like that, you are on record stating your premeditated intentions to do so. Its open and shut. You better pray his server never gets hit LOL

Well he clearly stated he couldnt be ddos'd so obvoiusly I didn't ddos him. I do not condone illegal activities. Also how would I know he didnt make up that steam chat? There is no time stamps of the occurance only an end date.
I know I did nothing wrong so take it easy guys. Gonna go back to playing some rust :D

There are other players in the server that would also tell everyone what happened. Other servers that were hosted on the same box also got knocked offline. You personally are responsible for not just my server going down, but others as well.
And clearly I was wrong about not being able to DDoS the server, apparently HFB doesn't have protection on all of their locations.
I was hacked today. I was standing in my house and looked outside. I saw 2 people walking from 200m straight to my house. It was day, and no fire was on. Ok might be lucky right? Well, after taunting a bit outside my house they decided to use their wallhack. Before I knew it the guy hacked through the wall and insta-killed me with his auto-shotgun and laser sight.
Now the funny part. I respawned behind him with my stone, running around like a mad man while he missed everything. I hit him about 6 times and he died. I laughed about a 2 minutes straight knowing that I killed a hacker with just a stone. Yes they are that [B]bad [/B]and no this is not made up.
Sadly enough his buddy with aimbot and full kevlar killed me anyway.
Moral of this story is, please do something about this because this totally ruined all my fun of the game. I will most likely quit for a few months and come back again because this is utterly pointless.

The player "Dice" on the Streamline Servers server (Australian) at 119.252.190.241:28015 just materialized inside my base inside a closed room and killed me (a few times over) and no doubt took all my stuff. Seems able to walk straight through doors. Pathetic lowlife.

I was there for the majority of the situation. Was interesting watching the fight. I would have banned him before Sievers did if I was the admin. Honestly, I thought he was being too nice by even acknowledging him after the trash talk peacekeepers gave him. Then friends of peacekeepers said he was going to Ddos. And within minutes the server crashed. Hasn't been up since...sadface...
So since this is a thread to report hacking on I guess this would be a good place to report a player named adverser. He already has 1 vac ban tied to his account and he was running extremely fast shooting me and my friend with a pipe shot gun. (I was not lagging everything else was running fine my friend was moving at a normal speed aswell and who knows maybe I am wrong but then again hes already got 1 vac ban)

The hackers just can open all doors together and get in without even using c4 anymore.
I heard the duping is not working anymore for them..
Still there is looting through walls, speedhack and aimbots.
I think looting through walls and the open door hack are the most annoying ones, because they destroy all the fun we have with this game ;(

I added him and he said he was wall hacking "just for fun" but he walked through my 10 story tower (20 doors total -- metal) and ran through my wall to suicide below. Then saw him speedhack near Big Civ and walk through another house.
Logged on 2 hrs later and my whole house was looted dry (all 20 doors still there, and no, no walls were broken into because I have pillars 12 stories tall around my base).
Never believed people hacking, just thought it was c4, until I saw this.

Saw the two speedhacking in an open field while I was on the road. In a few seconds they run up to me and my friend and we're dead.

Not sure of the names, but there is duping on this game. No way someone has 30+ charges and carries them around blowing them on everything, especially when they're only in rad.

Not sure if anyone else is involved in the "DoS" but DDoS is when MORE then 1 person is involved. DoS is when its only a single person.

I wish I could name all the hackers I've encountered on East Coast 3 (Large). Sadly, there's too many to count. I've decided to step away from this game until it gets closer to release and these things have been fixed. You should at least enjoy an early access game, not have to deal with children buying hacks with their mommies/daddies credit card. While there will always be hackers in every game, this absolutely out of control. The game is broken in its current state and is unplayable. I really don't reccomend buying this game with how it currently is. Rust (in theory) is EXTREMELY fun, but in its current state not so much. Just needed to vent, sorry.
