well just like to report [DGK]optix for hacking walked straight through my door while shut gunned me down his other friend on server [DGK]jordy was in the server aswell everyone complaining about teleporting/walling so i hope something happens . sick of these cheaters ruining these games

Played yesterday on a new server. Aimbot long distance, 3 shots hitting me 3 times. He didnt bother to fire more and why would he. Running around on day ONE i saw a couple of big houses, iron door + tons of spikes all around it. Played earlier on anothr server where people suddenly appear behind me in wide plains. Run around at nighttime a bit then stood still for like 20 secs and some aimbotter talked to me face to face "i am too easy". btw it was 100% dark. Whats the point of all this ? By now i think, only cowards dont use every hack possible.

This game is broken\UNPLAYABLE cuz of hackers, if you did not realise it then you must be completely dumb. I've been playing since the first day released on steam and I can guaranty half of every servers are hackers ! And most of the non-hackers are good players, stop saying non-sence shit !

there's probably a lot of hackers on this forum anyway. If you recognise yourself, FUCK YOU. Hope devs are doing something right now cuz this amazing game is being ruined these days, but it will not be ending that way, I just want them to get what they deserve. AT LEAST getting banned PERMANENTLY as soon as possible. [editline]5th January 2014[/editline] We should just create a server and allow only legit gamers from FACEPUNCH'S FORUM. With a thread that contains each player's ID who play on that server (A server that would be dedicated to a thread in this forum, which would be secured if we want it to be). So that way we could REALLY report it in THAT thread. That way the host should be able to ban every hackers and we could finally play without being hacked. Is there someone who could do this or explain me if it could be possible if we all take part of it like a secondary mission lol . I'm just trying to find a way to play with legit gamers. If someone serious believes its a good idea please take the idea to yourself, go make a thread with your server's name and I'm joining your server for sure. THANKS !

Game simply became unplayable, the amount of glitch , bug , and hack that we have to face everyday makes testing way too hard , with my group we are waiting a patch soon that will fix most of this stuff 1. the bug were if u change some files in the folders the doors disappear 2. Wood gate bug that works as a catapult 3. no clip hack , wall hack , and all these stuff that just keeps increasing day by day. Please do something about it , this game is amazing and has a huge potential , but if I have to face 3/4 of the time im playing cheaters we will not accept that , if VAC is not enough you will have to find a different solution. There is a guy with no name aimbotting and shooting through walls on UK 3 (stress test) How is it possible to report him without a name? Why does steam allow players with no name?

I understand the devs have prioritized content and gameplay over bugs right now. However, as the game seems to be selling well, it might be in their best in their best interest to hire a coder to take care of this boring stuff while the rest of the team continues to focus on gameplay and content. The benefits are obvious: happy players, positive word of mouth, better sales -- vs frustrated customers and a bad reputation. I would love to continue playing Rust, but the widespead exploitation of bugs makes it pointless and frustrating.

Yea, I know this game is only in alpha but the rampant cheating is too much, and people seem to think that buying the hacks themselves is the only way to combat this. I had a guy that could walk through all my walls and doors and when I went to report him through steam, his name never showed up. So yea. right now I would say this game is unplayable at least to the extent that it's not worth investing anytime into a base or items. I really like this game and hopefully the hacker epidemic can be resolved. What about the guys with rocks that killed me in 1 second with 5 rock hits zipping around the field. Or the guys that keep taking all the items out of my chests because I can't gather enough resources to even build a secure base because there's no such thing in existence right now. I don't need to do any "research" bud. You need to do some research before you spew out trash.

One of my storage rooms dozens of floors up was raided without any damage to the base whatsoever. It is impossible to do so without cheating.

Ive finished playing for now. Hacking and cheating has ruined the game, lets hope this gets sorted soon otherwise it will become very detrimental for Rust. As for people saying "oh its Alpha what do you expect". Thats not true, i suggest everyone legit stops playing and finds another game to play for now until the devs prioritise this. Afterall the hacks are only any good while legit players are still around. We stop playing, the hacks are pointless :). Let the hackers waste their money, play the game with the other hackers, making their hack rendered useless, get banned.. By this point hopefully the devs would have prioritised and patched a few times, we can begin testing again. +1 to the legit gamers :).

i've met guy named anonymous yesterday who had aimbot and possible radar too. cant find his profile now. i'll link it later if i find. he had SG or something like that on picture. also had other VAC ban on his profile so 100% hacker. killed me and friend many times with bolt action headshots without missing even a bullet. after using m4 and missing ALL bullets (20+) from pretty much 10-20 meters (pretty close, i've hit him many times so it was really easy to hit me, after that he hid behind tree for few seconds and bam i've got headshotted with bolt action + my friend too instantly after that, and he killed other ppl too, i've left server so i dont know much more) [editline]5th January 2014[/editline] [QUOTE=produno;43427700]Ive finished playing for now. [/QUOTE] It's fair to point out that it's an alpha build of an early access game. Personally, I accept the risk that I agreed to when I began playing. However, it might hurt the game and the studio in the long run to continue to ignore easy, widespread, game-breaking cheating.

So easy to get rid of hackers, just put an Admin on the Server who could Ban them... But the only words from Developer " Its Alpha" I think thats no apology... If they dont get rid of the Hackers the game wouldnt survive the "Alpha"
