This thread is getting stupid. Hackers are a big enough problem without posting videos like "omg guys this guy came through this open door and stole all my stuff HACKER ALERT".
See an invisible guy running around? It's an admin. They have invisible armor available.
Someone suddenly appeared / disappeared? Someone got teleported by an admin.
You can't open your door? Someone blew it up and replaced it with their own door.
Someone is killing you in your base? Did you or a teammate leave a door open?
Someone keeps killing you over and over? Vindictive player.
Someone killed you with a rock? It happens.
Learn how the game works before screaming "OMG HACKER" otherwise you look like an idiot. There are enough hackers crapping all over the game without using this thread to report anyone who kills you / is an admin / is a better player than you / is picking on you / hurt your feelings. Save the thread for the spammers, streamers, hackers, noclippers, aimbotters, DDOSers, etc.
The hackers are bad enough without every crybaby saying "u shot me i'm reporting you to VAC my uncle works for steam" (seriously said to me in game).
sadly the hackers are ruining the game for legit players too, as they are so ubiquitous that any kill almost certainly comes with a hackusation.
while I dont think the developpers should be focussing on hackers, they should definately be removing the obvious exploits, the focus should be on adding features, and providing some basic infrastructure for admins to be able to administer their servers more easily. with those tools, countering the hackers will become easier - atm, it requires constantly vigilant admins and a fair bit of work for them to figure out what is going on.
It happened with me on 3 diferent servers. Always the same situation: i was locked insided my house, metal doors everywhere. When i log in, i was dead, my best itens lost and my walls and doors were intact, perfect. I dont see any possible way to understand that without hacking. Its something that really should be focused.

I played Rust solidly for 3 days. It is one of the best games I've played in a while. The nearest game I've played, in feel, to how Ultima Online used to be. I would love to continue playing BUT until the problems with people using no clip are sorted out there is really no point. I had 2 incidents in 2 days where people no clipped into my house and rinsed me. There's no point saying "just get an admin to ban them" because another will soon pop up and do the same thing again. This issue needs to be resolved at the roots of the problem which is (from what I've read) the fact that the game uses an outdated system where the server does not validate the position of users so the users can just tell the server they are anywhere and the server will buy it. This issue is currently the number 1 problem with the game. Until this is fixed it really is pointless playing. It's a damn shame because I love this game.

Yet so old in the thread, It is just too good.
It still bothers me people call these exploiters "hackers." Hacker implies some kind of skill, both in terms of programming and engineering. These people simply pay $13 through paypal and run an exe that has been built by someone else. I would call these people cheaters...but not hackers.
Last night on US east coast large 3 or w.e the server name is... There was probably about 30 hackers on. I was getting a laugh at watching all these people zoom by while i stood on the mountain watching below.
I figured out that you can stop the guys from running through your doors... Just put up wood barricades behind your door before you log off and put up spikes around the base double wide. The barricade stops them from glitching through the door (But they can break it and it will take a bit of time) the spikes will keep them from getting close enough to wall glitch your items from the box!
Today, i was at my house on Rust, when suddenly some group came and attacked me and my friend, i ended up stuck in my room with metal door while all the group was outside waiting for me, suddenly i heard some shots and all the group died, sometime later a guy named " 裸 " went flying through me and killed me, when i respawned at the sleeping bag, i spawned close to the house and could record this [B]video[/B]: [video=youtube;IFUpoK5BAw4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFUpoK5BAw4&feature[/video] this fkn hacker kinda saved me from the group but i want him banned!!

Hey guys ! Decided to make an account here after fighting some hackers for 2 rust days :D they were clipping through the house trying to shoot us then running back out so we wouldn't have time to record em or ask the admin to check them (in the end he caught them all doing that) + they had aimbot and dupe hack .

Because it's all useless at the moment. No matter how well you play, you still get a teleporting player landing in front of you in less than one second.
Walls and doors don't work properly. For hackers, it's just like walking though air. All the farmed materials and loot that you keep in your house will be lost in one night.
I'm quite amazed. Out of fifty people on-line, even in the chat I learned that at least twelve people were using hacking software! So how many people were actually hacking??
Now I only use wood for building. This game has become just like SIMs ... great.

That's the point of an *alpha* and *early access*: to help the devs detect problems like this and support them financially early on. Just wait for 3-6 months and I'm confident all these issues have been resolved by then.
I think they should ban the steam, delete all purchased games, and have fuck who uses hack.

Both no.clipped inside the middle of my base, they zoomed through my main room twice, then i opened a door to find 1 of them outside it, in a middle non escapeable room(without destroying at least 2+ doors/walls), killed me once, then as i respawned the second dude killed me.
When challenged in chat about it they fully denied it and demanded evidance even though several others who are regular players like myself saw them hacking.
Please Find a way to bad these PoS
PS: Any advice on a free vid program, i do not have one and would love one to help insta catch hackers.

Altering the Z Axis.
Something has to be done about this already. On US East coast 3 there are two hackers (sexpar and Nobody) who are using speed hacks and wall hacks, and are frequently killing me and looting my base every 3 - 5 Hours, everyday. It doesn´t matter where I am, those idiots always find me :(, and it is quite annoying that everytime i log in i spawn outside of my base, because they kill me when i´m off. I understand that this is Alpha and i should have expect this, and I was willing to go through it when it was once in 2 days or so, but when it´s so frequently and the same hackers everytime, then it really kills the mood to play this game. I already reported them on steam, so i hope VAC will take care of them, but for every banned hacker there are two more running around.

At the moment there is a player called "Corvo" who is speed hacking and walking through walls stealing people's loot in East Coast 3 Large server. Can any justice be had? Oh where art thou SUPERMAN?!!
How can you Ban a hacker who changed his SteamID to a name and has no name in game? I can link the guys profile if needed. He is also spamming a link to where you can get hacks.
I created a simple webpage to add ban lists.
My ideia is simple, create a big ban list to help server admins...
Only trusted server admins can add bans to the list (Only selected server admins). On my opinion this will help other server admins confirm if a specific player can be using hacks or no.
What do you think?
It's only an ideia, and I made the page in a question of minutes, I don't have the login system ready because I'm having some problems with it.
